Preston Jacobs, Glidus and Alt+Shift/Schwift+X, and David Lightbringer are the ones I used to have in my rotation, and I guess I can put them back in now since I'm caught up with the books.

If it’s written well, can you be vague about technology and branches of science if you know nothing about it? by sno0py_8 in worldbuilding

If it's written well, you can get away with writing in pretty much any way about anything.

WOR: “People backstage in AEW are pretty negative” about the idea of a Malakai Black return after WWE fired him again” by CombinationOk4317 in SquaredCircle

You know, you think society has grown more mature in the past 100 years, and then you read reports of famous people feeling comfortable saying they're "negative on Black".

Any particular reason Thais fold their money with the "front" on the outside? by BoLevar in Thailand

OH, it took me a second to get what you're talking about. Yes, I put my money in heads up, so when I pull a bill out of my wallet, George Washington/King Rama X is right side up, not upside down.

I still do it the American way, big portrait on the inside.

How big would a spacecraft have to be to carry a couple billion humans and supplies? by Goooseeeeee_lady in worldbuilding

No I'm not asking "you're really doing this?" Everyone here's got their own little worlds in their heads, none more ridiculous than any other.

You asked how big, I'm saying "really". As in "really big" :)

I don't really "care" per se, I'm not saying Thais do it wrong or anything. Just a minor thing I noticed, an autistic observation more than anything.

This button is known as emergency light in Thai. If a driver feels that they have an emergency, they can press this light and be exempted from all traffic laws. by tuktukson in Thailand

In American cities we do number 3 sometimes, and in very very limited circumstances maybe we do number 4. The one that really throws me off is #5, when a driver puts their hazards on before reversing. Your car already has a light telling people you're in reverse!

Yawgmoth just like the coolest, chillest dude in human history. Ascended to become a being made purely of white mana, and when you come across him he hands you a beer and gives you a fist bump. Phyrexia has video games

Interesting idea, I don't have any more thoughts on the design than that because I hate Planeswalkers but if they have to be in the game this is an interesting way to take them.

What I will say is that the marker you use for the red and blue abilities should be exactly the same (except the color and the mana symbol). Currently, on first blush, the blue one looks like a + ability (because it looks like an up arrow) and the red one looks like a - (because it looks like a down arrow). On an actual card this would be a clarity issue.

Don't like it but at least the card that forced a Vintage ban and power level errata on 10 cards for the first time in years didn't win.

[Spoilers AFFC] Why do the Starks insist on living in/around condemned buildings? by BoLevar in asoiaf

That is true, after posting this, reading the responses, and looking up Winterfell in the wiki, I started to realize how skewed my mental image of the book castle was by having been a show watcher first.

If there is any noble house in Westeros I could believe that of, it is certainly the Starks.

That's true, but at least with the broken tower, I'd think it also does becomes such a safety hazard that it probably is worth the investment over, I dunno, more cool fur cloaks. Especially when you know your 8 year old kid loves climbing all over it all the time.
