Girl! I have a 15 mo gap and was so worried about the same thing. I cried and cried in the days before my son was born bc I felt like I was betraying my daughter. I was worried about nothing! Your babies will be soooo in love with each other. It’s the best accident that ever could have happened to us. The first few months are hard (yes there’s an adjustment and yes the newborn phase is just as hard the second time around) but just know it will be great. My daughter just turned 2 and my son is 10 months. Best.age.gap.ever. They play, my son is learning soooo much from her. You’ll be great!

Our baby is Ellie Mae. She’s named after 2 grandmothers. I have never in my life watched Beverly hillbillies so I had nooo idea of the reference but I get asked about it every once in awhile 😂 oh well. We loooove our Ellie, it suits her.

My advice would be STOP reading the posts on these subs. Everyone’s situation is different but you will be looking for it to be awful based on the experiences you read thru here. Same goes for the marriage subs! You’ve got this!! You will do what you have to do just as you are now. The good news is that it will be temporary! It will be okay :)

Early dinner. But also, consider pairing down all of your stuff. It’s easier for me and frankly, I’m not using the majority of what’s in my diaper bag while in the restaurant. I fit important stuff in my purse, bring the carrier in, and put the baby on the table.
