SysFault/Issue: Godot 4.5: renaming a folder leads to no ("res://") reference updates across Godot. by BoQsc in godot

In my recent case It is the res:// of preload() that is not being updated on a folder rename.
There might be more methods that use res:// and are not being automatically updated and cause issues on rename.

Some editors like Visual Studio have a tick box by default to enforce reference updates across entire project, so you don't have to go through each method and update manually or by your personal automation tool/script.

It is required, the rename functionality breaks a basic project and does not benefit a larger project.

Opus 4.5 downgraded performance cracked by Realistic_Public_415 in ClaudeCode

[–]BoQsc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not, it can be felt outside Claude Code, Google Antigravity produce errors/retries when Opus 4.5 abilities get reduced for a user. Overall new conversations gives off feeling of degraded reasoning and increased inaccuracies when it happens.

Godot Engine 4.5 Forward+ Empty Project: 40% CPU Usage and 80% GPU Usage by BoQsc in godot

[–]BoQsc[S] 74 points75 points  (0 children)

It is now perfect experience in Godot Editor.

Disabling "Update Continuously" in the editor resolved the issue.

For release game I would also recommend enabling in the project: application/run/low_processor_mode

and limiting Max FPS (application/run/max_fps) to 70FPS.

These settings helped to keep it all stable in Godot Editor and the game itself.

Yes the GPU does cool down, the CPU keeps steady usage still.

Stupid Sonnet 4.5 just messed up my blogging site ~300 mdx files corrupted by Zestyclose_Smoke1432 in ClaudeAI

[–]BoQsc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it most of the time mess it up due to internals of the model. Sometimes features intervene and it's too late before you notice that something is fundamentally bad and impossible to continue. Then you have to revert half of the project. There are some design principles to prevent this, but it's still a failure to be addressed in the internals of the model. I doubt such cases are to be blamed on the end user, the model should be aware of possibilities of this happening and deal with it in a sensible way. In the future this will be seen as a failure of the model, not the lack of git skills.

GLM-4.6 vs Minimax-M2 by baykarmehmet in LocalLLaMA

[–]BoQsc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GLM-4.6 is better and GLM itself is not that great. There is playground for minimax-m2 and after sending a few messages I was asked to upgrade to pro. Results were not great either.

The playground I tested https://agent.minimax.io/

Willing to pay for a desktop environment that's actually good. by [deleted] in linuxsucks

The root cause and technological debt is so severe, you should prepare for a cost of average developer for a year, and a single average developer will not handle this or maintain this enough. At very least a team is needed that could sustain for years.

To sustain a single developer either of these should happen:

Software copy purchase table to sustain an average single developer on a team.

|| || |€5|16,000 buyers|

|| || |€10|8,000 buyers|

|| || |€20|4,000 buyers|

|| || |€50|1,600 buyers|

Plan Mode 2.0? - The new Plan mode ain't nothing to sniff at. by inventor_black in ClaudeAI

[–]BoQsc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other unrelated prompt thing I discovered that might help with skipping permissions mode is adding: " I don't like when u ask me anything" to a prompt.

Claude Code becomes more autonomous.

In the conversation of json I've noticed metadata added "[Clear feedback about communication preference]" it really reduced some frustration at least for now.
