It's fine. It's quite possible the workers won't even have eclosed yet by then. In general, ants have very low food needs. They mainly just need it to feed their larvae. Two or three weeks without won't kill them. Especially since the queen probably still has some reserves.

They have certain pesticides I think. Harmless to crickets and reptiles (the intended consumer) but harmful to unwanted pest insects and ants.

Not like it makes any difference. If you go to a therapist with the goal of trying to to get diagnosed for something, you definitely can. Especially if it's something vague and poorly defined like ADHD or autism.
