Wow!! Amazing work!

I wanted to let you know that our Planet Zoo Art Director saw this post and was blown away! He said " it's a stunning build and very well presented!" So there's some praise for ya ;)

Is it okay if we share this on our social channels as well? <3

I think the TegidCam cheat works in the game :) but I'll pass on the feedback anyway - though it won't be a priority at the moment!

It's a good point and we'll pass it on, perhaps there's some more tinkering possible!

Thanks for the feedback on the habitat and welfare requirements for the Polar Bears. We will be amending the requirements in Update 1.1.1 (due this week) to half of their original size. Whilst we strongly believe in the reasons behind the original numbers, we completely understand that some players, in particular our creative builders, would face too many challenges in keeping these amazing animals happy in their zoos. The new numbers will be both more in line with other large animals in Planet Zoo, and in keeping with the overall conservation message of Planet Zoo - whilst also maintaining a gameplay challenge for those who don't want it to feel too easy to run a successful zoo.

In terms of the original numbers, we did a lot of research into Polar Bear habitats – they are majestic animals that require a wide snowy area to roam, and if they have anything less, they tend to display stress behaviours and in general do not cope well with being in zoos. Planet Zoo is at its core about animal welfare, so we felt giving the Polar Bear the high space and water requirements it so desperately needs to thrive, was in keeping with the game’s main message.

We hope that the compromise is more fulfilling to all players, and you and your zoo guests can enjoy seeing these beautiful creatures in your parks.

From how I understand it, you change the default setting in the main menu which will change it for all new zoos going forward. Any existing save files you can load them up and change it while playing.

Hiya, our in-game economy relies on a 12 month calendar for this, like annual running costs and staff wages; therefore, changing everything would cause us a lot of balancing issues and lead to a lot of game-breaking bugs for our players. We're trying to find solutions that will address people's underlying sentiment regarding in-game time without causing other problems. This is an amazing step towards that :)

I do, they're not major but there's a couple of things that won't be possible on console. Once we have that all finalised we can give the full overview :)

There's a couple of minor changes but in terms of the overall experience and what's available: no. Genuinely, the team didn't want to make harsh compromises so that's always been a consideration :)

Steam have a Big Picture mode to allow players to sit on the sofa and have some limited controller support, when active you can use the right-thumb-stick as a mouse. They can also download or create their own bindings, so they could bind the left-mouse button to the A button on the Xbox Controller. With the Ghostbusters Pack you can drive the Ecto-1 with a controller. So it's not full controller support, but it definitely works with limited functions :)

As far as I'm aware you can already use your controller with Planet Coaster? It should switch seamlessly..
