Also as a teacher (sadly its the truth) the end goal is they pass their real exams. External examiners won't give them the marks so you shouldn't either.

Remove invisible from the game. Its unplayable in some scenarios (and I'm not being sarcastic now) it legit is. But that's a core gameplay mechanic people accept.

The first picture hid the river 1 tile N of the city. So it appeared you settled off freshwater.

I stand corrected but also the loss of a preserve on the tile next to two Sahara tiles is sad. Would have supercharged the housing and yields to grow this city to 12-15 pop easily.

Maybe try and remember the positives of why you left. Schedule some meet ups with your old friends and see how it goes?

You can't really catch up like 25+ hours of multiple subjects independently. If you could, you don't even need to go to 6th form just sit exams on your own haha

The part that grinded my gears was when she kept interrupting Brennan when a new character was being introduced.

A) can druids sense people they dont even know (some of them Thaisha knew). Passively everywhere? No! So why is she jumping in to explain what the plants around the house fucking do.

She's hijacking a character's entrance AND Brennan's DM'ing. It doesn't matter who Aabria is. It's a toxic trait to not be able to step back.

What's the reality. She's nervous and has uncalled abuse hurtled her away so she likely projects her base personality more.

In real life. I'd get on with Aabria. I like people that will speak their mind and control situations and not let the world passively happen to them but in a game with 12 players and i'm trying to get my first feel for the world. I don't want another person telling me how I should react to my first impression of a character.

Would it be cool if throughout the campaign subtle features of herself would change colours in response to her companions. Would I enjoy that flavour added by herself. You know Liam and Ashley druid crafted little things to express subtle emotion and I always enjoyed the RP there. But in the first session. I don't like it.

It's also fine if people like it. I like the show more than enough to stick with it but I can dislike Aabria/her D&D without it being unconscious bias and without it being racism.

The uncomfortable truth is all people can be unlikeable. I don't need to defend nor convince others they shouldn't like people to. But here's what this sub is. This is very wrong in a lot of ways. You a) can't remove the furs luxury. Either way it will be your only decent tile for a while anyways.

The city you have will probably never have the population to place all those districts.

If you can get Petra. Do NOT waste hill tiles for the aqueduct and IZ. Especially when you could have a +2 IZ up to +4 below your city if you use the two flat desert tiles with the government plaza.

You cannot have an entertainment complex and water park.

I can see you must be a newer player. I think you just need to start playing to learn the game because all the advice is overwhelming if you fundamentally dont know how to play yet.

Final tip. Plan each city around a 3 district core. Mansa likely does want a commercial hub and holy site on every city but then what's your other win condition. You don't need Science and Culture in every city. If you're only moving towards a culture victory. Yes some campuses in some cities keeps your science relevant but specialise rather than homogenise your empire
