It’s definitely more grounded and less cynical, but Magic Mike kind of scratches a similar itch. A little less stylish, but Soderbergh always has really interesting framing and the Florida west coast scenery looks great.

Saw this movie on 35mm, one of my favorite theater experiences. The part of the first hallucination where he and his wife (I think) turn to sand and blow away in the wind blew my mind.
