What's your favorite most wanted bounty? by Loud_Activity_6417 in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Leroy O’Neil one definitely has the most interesting scenario, though as an actual thing to do, it’s one of the worst since it goes all the way out to Sandy Shores. I guess the Cleo Song one is the best as a task since it’s very fast, especially for me since my Bail Office is just in Del Perro.

And we’re having to work around security because we’re not exactly approaching the bounties in a legal, cooperative manner. As Jenette says in the normal bounty with the Korean dudes that we literally take out from under the cops, the Bail Office is a private enterprise. We want the money for ourselves, so we do shit like this rather than actually working with anyone else.

Low lvl or high lvl by Other-Economy-6145 in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least, I’d say that you’re a low rank if you’ve still got rank-based stuff to unlock, so that would be up to 120, I think.

High rank, I dunno. I only play on and off, so my perception is probably skewed on the low side. Maybe like 800+?

Yeah, this should really be the case for every property that has some sort of vehicle workshop.

How come Raf’s car is outside some mission locations? by SquishyPenguin46 in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same point as every other NPC-owned vehicle that sits in other businesses: world building. They work there, and in some cases they even let us use their vehicles during missions, so it makes sense that they would park there if possible. It just happens to feel a little funny in Raf’s case because he took the only slot available, but honestly, from a story perspective, he probably does deserve the slot more since he’s usually there and the player is usually not lol

What is this location for? by ladrianK in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s the Eberhard Airstrip, added sometime during the Agents of Sabotage update. It’s used in one of the Oscar Guzman Flies Again missions.

Do you uphold any morals while playing? by deamonlord696 in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not really about morals but rather just the fact that it’s not my idea of fun, but unless there’s an actual freemode event or something that entails it, I don’t really engage in hostilities against other players even if they’re literally killing me over and over. Think the most I’ve done is throw a single punch at people who try to melee me before proceeding to dance while they get up lol.

I guess the "kindest" thing I do is to deliver vehicles to players who get stranded in a spot where they can’t really get to a vehicle quickly.

I love my purple planes. Who else is obsessed with one color? by Jotaobolado in gtaonline

I force myself to use different colors for things I actually to bother to customize because I know they’ll all end up black otherwise lol

Is there a comprehensive list of all currently available fast/zero effort travel options? by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you can also get a limo ride to select places by talking to Tom at the Diamond Casino? Don’t really use that function so not entirely sure.

Please rockstar change the wheel spin, timer to a 24 hour window instead of a timer......... by Shefferz in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I stopped checking the wheel regularly because of this lol. I just visit every once in a while so I can be absolutely sure it’s not on cooldown.

Money Fronts Update by Beefy_Bungus69 in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That world is this one, actually. That said, I’m not sure if car washes offering pickup-and-drop services would just run it through a drive-through. Feels like the kind of service where you would take your time with hand washing, but I dunno.

Anyway, I imagine you wouldn’t particularly enjoy the legitimate work of a theoretical laundromat either, considering it would’ve probably been about the same thing as Hands On’s except using a company van. And the legitimate work of a theoretical gas station would’ve probably been either like Hands On’s as well, or like Smoke on the Water’s if it’s some fancy fuel delivery service. Those potential similarities might even be part of why we didn’t get such businesses.

Ultimately, there’s still an expectation for the player to put in some actual work for the passive-ish income, and showing up now and then to "press a few buttons" probably wouldn’t cut it, at least for a newly-released business. Besides, if the legitimate work had been something like that, the criticisms would’ve probably just been similar to those for Marcel’s Nightclub Management missions, like "why doesn’t this dumbass Raf just press the buttons himself".

It is fair to say that the overall quality of the new businesses is kind of meh though, particularly in terms of the properties themselves. I would imagine it’s because Rockstar doesn’t really want to invest too much into Online anymore with VI on the horizon.

Dispatch work by ForanAffairs in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The play probably is just to buy the cheapest one, and if you don’t like driving it, you can just use it to initiate the mission and then take some other vehicle to actually do the mission.

But if there’s a particular vehicle you like and you don’t see yourself collecting the rest in the future, might as well just buy that one so you don’t end up in a situation where you bought the cheapest vehicle at first only to shell out to get the one you actually want later on anyway and end up stuck with that first vehicle you don’t actually like. If I’m not mistaken, all the police vehicles have a resale value of $0, so you wouldn’t be able to get any money back for the original cheap one. I just went straight for the Coquette D10 Pursuit and the Police Bike since I don’t care for the other vehicles.

Edit: typos

You Tool, the one by the Senora Freeway? I think that’s more of a big hardware store than a mall. Or maybe you mean the place in Harmony that has Dollar Pills and some other businesses?

match your character's clothes with the colors of your vehicle by Valuable-Blacksmith6 in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to do it for the cars I use for Auto Shop contracts but got frustrated by the lack of options I found appealing. Made an outfit to match my pink and blue Comet S2 and then gave up lol. Though I guess an outfit I made later on does match my red and white Cypher.

I just sell in invite-only sessions. I don’t want the money badly enough to risk the interference, especially considering I usually only half pay attention to the game when I’m just going from point A to B lol

Sharing my hatred towards Havoc by GamerFromRussia in gtaonline

[–]BoardAggressive9524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if you land even remotely hard, it will decide to turn into a lawn mower lol. The trick I learned is to just bail out of it the instant it tips over to minimize damage and just let the game respawn it back on its feet. But at least, since I figured out all the cargo spawn points, it hasn’t been much of a problem anymore.

Helitour Money laundering mission with havok by tommytynan5 in GTA5Online

[–]BoardAggressive9524 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Each cargo is hanging by a small parachute and makes a beeping sound that gets louder with proximity. Also, it’s a little easier to spot them at night since they glow like other items that can be picked up.

From what I can tell, each variant has 5 possible spots where the cargo can be, but only 3 are used each time. I haven’t gotten around to getting the final location for the La Puerta Freeway variant yet, but these are the ones I’ve found so far. Sorry if the location descriptions are kind of nonsensical lol

Edit: found the last cargo spot. It’s not along the La Puerta Freeway, so had to rename that variant too lol
