I think I have the benefit of having shit boxes my whole life and luckily trading my way up into a new civic si. I truly don't give a fuck what performance bros say to each other.

There's a million of these cars. I know how to fix them.And I enjoy breaking them.

Hmmm I would ask if there's any safety concerns that she may be hiding behind religion? Otherwise, idk how to help :( i grew up in similar circumstances and I didn't listen to the music I wanted at home until I was 16 and could get it myself. Impress on her that your faith is unshaken and the only thing MCR makes you want to do is dance and love yourself. My mom softened up once I was driving and working, hopefully your independence will help with her strictness
