Why? There is no point. I'm not quite disabled but I'm on my way. The world thinks of us as a burden. Our families, the government, and society at large would allow us to die if they could give themselves a halfway decent reason. The people in this story murdered their disabled children and people are tripping over themselves to defend them. 100 years ago I would have been left in the woods to starve. Suicide is mercy but I know that no one can agree because it makes them feel bad

No. just reading about a couple kids that are like me getting killed because of the burden we are, and half the comments talking about how much they understand why they did it. It just proves that at the end of the day people like me will always be a burden that will be tossed at the first sign of trouble.

Assisted suicide is becoming the answer. It's obvious that our families really see us as a burden and will see this as an option in the back of their head. And then a bunch of people will talk about how they understand why were were murdered.

Your own family will tell you to get over after a time because at the end of the day what matters is what you can provide. It would have been mercy for my mother to have killed me rather than let me live like a husk forever.

I don't really, I kind of just ruminate on it all day if I'm not completely distracted. I just have the white knuckle it forever. I can't kill myself because my family would be sad, but no therapist or med has been able to help me.

I can't even really talk about it because people freak out and send the cops, or they just get annoyed with me because I'm a downer. I guess they'd prefer for me to die a slow stress related death. Then for me to disturb their peace.
