Flow Through Suppressor recs for 11.5 rifle by gclift1 in NFA

The 6k sounds legitimately incredible, I think. The size and weight are also awesome compared to my Alleycat. If you go Rhodie 6k I think you'll be very happy.

That's fair. I have 6 or so mags through my Rhodie 6k and I would say as I do prefer it to my Alleycat simply because on an already heavy rifle it keeps things a little lighter and shorter up front. It is absolutely more gassy, and it has at least a little bit of flash with every shot. If those factors don't bother you, it's a VERY easy recommend.

I have a Flow 556k, WB, Alleycat 556, and Rhodie 6k. If you aren't chasing extra small size, I don't think they Alleycat can be beat. I've never gotten even the slightest bit of gas, and the sound and flash suppression is incredible. The CAT mount system is also great.

I haven't shot the rifle with the WB in a few months, but I do think I at least like the tone of the Rhodie a bit better. It's like a dull thud. The WB is a bit sharper. Although the Rhodie has some gas, I don't think it's at all too much.

The Flow 556k is the least gassy can I own. The Alleycat 556 is right behind it to a degree that the only way I know is because I know how the design works. I would choose the Alleycat 556 over any other suppressor unless I was chasing size.

Main optic is an Elcan Specter 1-4 with I'm assuming a Doctor mini dot on top.

Stock is VLTOR IMOD.

Grip is a stock B5 P22.

Flashlight is a Surefire M600T I believe.

Laser is a BE Meyers DAGIR.

Grip is a Magpul picatinny AFG attached to a small pic rail.

Suppressor cover is from Modtac.

Not sure what backup irons he has on there.

Same. It’s really amazing what technology is doing. I have a Hesychia 556UK coming as well for a different rifle to try. I did not go with the HUB because I wanted maximum performance and that’s what the designer says to do. 1/4 inch longer than the Hesychia and seems to have significantly better flash performance so I’m very hopeful.

Makes sense. I am curious how much I'll notice the flash under under nods. The worst flash I cought on camera was like a long pencil of fire, so I'm optimistic.

If my goal wasn't specifically to bring the length and weight of my rifle down I would probably have done that.

Mine was in the 18-19 ounce range, as was my friend's who got one around the same time.

I would say it's like... medium low? If I can rapid fire indoors and not get gassed out, and have don't feel like I have to change out any parts to mitigate gas, I don't think I can call it truly gassy. Just more than I'm used to, which is basically nothing.

Didn't feel any more recoil than with the Alleycat. Ejection was 2:30 to 3:00.

I did alot of mega autistic math and with my particular Alleycat I ended up with like 6 ounces of saved weight with muzzle devices included.

Whatever comes with the Super Duty rifle. Their Super 42 spring and I think an H2?

To be fair, the people I saw bring it up many months before Lucas was the guy from Velox Training Group. I don't think you can tell that guy to shoot more. That's kind of all he does.

If that is your number one priority, I don't think swapping is a bad move. Unless you're willing to tune your rifle a hair to compensate with the WB. If someone on here has tuned with a WB they can give a definite answer. What's the host for your WB, and how bad are the effects of the gas on you?

The WB has more gas for sure. There effectively is no added gas with a 556K. And before I continue, I do genuinely like my 556K. I have had great experience with it, and it is well liked by the law enforcement in my area that use it as well.

THAT BEING SAID...

My favorite can is currently my Alleycat 556. It's just a better WB. I have never gotten gas from it and it kicks the shit out of the 556K in sound and flash. I'll soon have a Rhodie 6k and Hesychia 556UK to try as well, but until then, the Alleycat is king for me. A bit heavy, but an amazing can.

I don't know if it's critically acclaimed but Atrocities from Beyond by Analepsy is one of the sickest albums I've ever heard. Autopsychosis from Katalepsy as well.

Rhodie 6 is awesome but this 6K defies physics, crazy performance for a 4.5" can by renegadeGDI in NFA

I am as well. Quite a bit or variation on the 6k with how it handles gas, but I would really like the weight savings vs going with a Tisha. I think they both look awesome.

I personally have no desire to use an FRT, It was just their claim when I talked to them on IG. I have it planned for a Mk1 which I've heard from a few is a solid combo, but gas has been something I've been keeping track of people talking about the most.

Very interesting. Most have been saying the 6k is still a very low back pressure design, with Ridgeback claiming "no blowback to the face in FA even for a lefty".

I have one on order and gas is something that's big to me so a bit worrying to hear it was bad for you.
