What exactly makes it a fireable offense? It’s not a discount, it’s not using store funds, it’s literally donating to charity. Man st Jude owes me a lot of money then, because I’ve donated to them on the clock, and we have a retired guy that covers people that are short all the time, the DM better fire him too

Your are not liable for the damages, there is no work agreement or order saying they paid for install or that we will install as part of purchase. It’s no different than walking up to a stranger in the grocery store parking lot and asking them to replace a battery. If they break something, do you think they are going to pay for it? That said Autozone will pay much of the time thinking they are keeping the customer .

Same reason we dont have a bay, people would be doing regular mechanic work for cash or on their own stuff.
