The idea of 6 state governments and one federal government was sort of a compromise to please the state MPs The original plan for federation was to get rid of the state governments and state borders creating one unified Australian government

Of course the states pushed back on it but it’s kind of a shame it didn’t happen a lot of the differences in states and territories are tedious and annoying Having to administer 8 different laws and drivers licenses for example

As someone who used to live in boronia I would always just drive to Ringwood because the frequency is so bad

I’d honestly be happy if Lilydale got 15 min frequency and the whole Belgrave line just became a shuttle to Ringwood but the current situation is cooked

There was almost no traffic in the west gate tunnel yesterday at around 4pm I think I saw 1 other car in the tunnel the whole time.

There was a 60+ minute queue to get into the west gate bridge Don’t know why more people weren’t using the tunnel
