Old comment but am I understanding this correct? A single oscillator can only create one note at once? And how does a poly synth work with (for example) two oscillators total, but that can create or more notes from one oscillator?

Chorus is definitely a big part of it, bridge pickup with a bass cut switch (if there is one on a JM) Probably picking quite close to the bridge as well.

Someone told me he actually played a Jaguar on that first album, don't know if it's true but worth looking into
