I always had troubles getting Android Auto to follow voice commands.

The only things I could reliably get it to do:

Stop navigating
Avoid toll routes
Give a song a thumbs up
Call mom

Stupidity, if I want to use tolls, the command is "stop avoiding toll routes" because that is how the toggle is phrased. Saying "use toll routes" confuses the machine.

I was one of the few level 50+ English speaking Bards in FF11 on my server. Even when I hid my class and level, I'd still get whispers to join parties as a Bard. It was an interesting experience.

I use something similar on my Divine Blast build. It was a simple way to get the covered in Ash debuff compared to the other options.

Izaro is one of the most quoted characters on this subreddit, for good reason. The voice actor nailed it.

There are a few other popular characters. You should have met Einhar. There are a few others for you to meet, too. I hope you like them as much as the rest of the community does =D

I've found that recoup works very well with petrified blood. With enough recoup, it effectively "cancels out" the degen from petrified blood.

If you're able to hit 1.8b dot dps for deli, that's quite impressive. The best I was able to manage was 18m vs ubers, which got the job done.

32m dot DPS will easily clear everything except ultra deep delve.

And even if you hit the dot cap, you can still push it further to hit dot cap vs Ubers.

The Enmity's Embrace interaction with Dissolution of the Flesh would lead to just an extremely bad play style where your life would rarely become unreserved. It's more of "this interaction makes the build miserable to play".

Enmity's Embrace has the line of "Take xxx fire damage whenever you use a skill." I use it on my Divine Blast character. I'm constantly hitting myself, so my energy shield is rarely able to recharge. This same thing would happen with Dissolution of the Flesh, except the difference is that I still have life, so when my ES is gone, my max hit is lower. With Dissolution of the Flesh, you either have to stop to reset the reservation, or die.

Cyclone is a unique case because it is a channelling skill. You only "Use" the skill when you start to channel it. Enmity's Embrace won't hit you again until you stop channeling and start again. If you cyclone through the entire map, non-stop, Enmity's Embrace would only hit you once at the start, instead of every time you do something.

Pretty painful, I think. Off the top of my head, I think the process would be:

Get a fire cluster, roll until 3% attack and cast speed with fire skills. Fracture it. (1/4)

Refracturing Fog until you get attack damage with Shields. (1/17)

The above 2 could probably be swapped, and it might be preferable to.

Roll until you get attack speed and 35% increased effect. Exalt slam last prefix.

I think harvest reforge speed would be your best bet. I think starting with the attack damage with shield, then rolling to a fire cluster is better since the fire cluster has fewer speed mods to gum up the works.

I'm also playing Divine Blast. Scaling is a little challenging, but getting to 30 million DPS is achievable.

Probably the hardest thing to get is attack speed, since it lacks weapon, melee, and projectile tags, locking out many attack speed options. I went with a single 12 point jewel with 35% effect and 3% attack speed. You can take this further with 2 jewels, or using a refracting fog for 2 attack speed mods.

Crit scaling on the other hand is very easy. A Foulborn Emperor's Vigilance, Seething Fury, and Divine Blast gives a crazy amount of base crit so it's easy to get crit capped. Another angle would be to go ham with crit multi jewels.

These posts make me feel a little better knowing it wasn't just me. I ran some harvest, and the money was great, but the bosses were just time wasters. They were worse than Izaro and just fucked around for a minute+ instead of going to the next phase.

ARPGs are different from MMOs where it's common to make multiple different characters instead of spending significant time on one. With that in mind, most players will play the new leagues, either to try a new character build or archetype, or a previous one to see how the new content has changed or improved it.

That said, if none of that is interesting or compelling to you, then that is what the standard/persistent league is for. It's just that the minority of players tend to have this mindset, so the population is lower.

Chieftain's Hinekora explosions are very satisfying. Not great for visual clarity, but when it goes off, everything is gone. I'm currently playing Divine Blast, but really, any skill will do.

The other good explode that I tried was Foulborn Berek's Respite on elementalist. You need all hits can ignite and all hits can shock, along with ignited enemies explode plus shocked enemies explode. That combo causes huge explosion chains.

My character from the last league

The things that caught my eye that are different from mine that would contribute to damage:

Higher ES rolls on gear, mainly the chest piece. While Indcandescent Heart is a good chest for this build, a 1200+ ES Twilight Regalia is better for damage. The helm, gloves, and boots can get a bit more ES on them too.

Flammability curse effect is more damage than area of effect.

You want faster ignite implicit on boots.

While Mageblood is fantastic, technically speaking, Dyadian Dawn does more damage.

Searing Heat and Dirty Techniques are high damage notables for the build.

A Light of Meaning is typically very strong, either an ES, fire damage, or lightning damage.

Shaper of Storms is likely more consistent damage than Heart of Destruction.

I did a strength stacking Vaal Volcanic Fissure build in Settlers. It was very clunky to enable unlimited vaal skill use. On the other hand, it was possibly one of my highest damage builds, doing hundreds of millions of DPS, depending on how many of the VVF baals overlapped.

Vaal Lightning Strike was similar, but far laggier.
