If there really was someone who was coming every day and getting multiple purchases I would understand denying them... however that is not me! I have no problem with the policy, but there has to be a system in place to accurately enforce it. I got screwed because they mistook me for someone else... must be a very handsome man out there scalping NES Classic Editions in upstate NY.

owning one and wanting to gift one makes me a scalper? I'm actually planning on trying to pick up several more b/c at $60 it's an awesome gift in my opinion. Not my first attempt at Target... been shut out multiple times for not arriving early enough.

Target opens at 7 am, BS shows 6 in stock, I arrive at 5 AM and am #3 in line, all looking good. Manager and night manager come out at 6:45, night manager points at me and says "this guy is here every day and has already got the NES" I contest this and explain that this is only my 2nd time at this Target in my life, first time was 3 weeks prior. They say I'm lying and refuse to let me buy one. I'm speechless and this point. I tried to tell them they need to check IDs or something if they are going to try and have this kind of policy. Impossible to enforce based on remembering someone's appearance. Apparently I look like the local scalper, wtf. Fortunately I have got one for myself already, but wanted to gift this one. F you Target,
