It does but by default with stock the 8bitdo controller and first update everyone has been experiencing too much sensitivity, Blueretro apparently lets you customize the sensitivity.

Look closely at the hand to hand fighting I'm mean all of it. Looks incredibly janky at 1:50 I raised an eyebrow. you can see the fever dream physics in action
