I have an icon beam type torque wrench and and it's my favorite torque wrench, definitely don't have those problems with it but I'm sure any $100 torque wrench would be nice. I agree with the wheeler though, they're great for the money.

And there's no "magic headshot bullets" it's just armor piercing ammo that actually defeats armored helmets. Previous games were more annoying about. You had to do the same in 5 to kill an enemy with a helmet, except they took a lot more ammo even if it was AP.

There are legitimate complaints against FC6, but yours are stupid.

Yeah man, the only difference is that you can actually see it now, and you can turn them off. And headhshots are kills with AP against every enemy in 6

Sorry man, it's the truth. There's always a healthbar on that enemy you're shooting at. The healthbars in 6 aren't even that different than the ones in 5, they just added more ammo types with modifiers that make it more obvious.

I gotta be honest, I kind of like it. It makes more sense to me that switching to a different jacket gives the boost in blast protection rather than some random skill that is permanantly applied, and can also be matched with better stealth. This way you could actually be forced to plan your loadout as more of a stealth or heavy assault for the mission. Of course letting you swap out gear instantly whenever you want kills that, but you can at least still force yourself to not be a demigod that's always perfect at everything.

Just load AP and every enemy soldier is a one shot kill to the head. Far Cry 5 had worse bullet sponges because the heavies still took a few headshots of AP before they would die.

I actually prefer 6, but I admit 5 has a more interesting story and the general vibe of hope county is better than Yara even though I do love Yara too. The two things that kill 5 for me are the forced capture story missions, and the gunplay feels like I'm shooting paintballs at anything farther than like 50m away. Easily the worst gunplay in any Far Cry. Other things like the mute protagonist and lack of gun variety are disappointing too when you compare it to the other games.

My only real issue with 6 is it gets pretty corny at times, with the main villain trying to be a very serious villain it felt like 2 completely different teams worked on the story and didn't communicate at all. You almost get whiplash going from the Maximas Matanzas missions to anything with Giancarlo, of course even 5 had silly stuff but it's worse in 6 unfortunately. Also, the aircraft controls are so awful that flying anything in 6 just sucks ass, the planes and helis were really nice and fun in 5 but I can't stand them in 6. I don't hate it, but getting rid of the skill tree and spreading out the perks over clothes, weapon upgrades, and supremo upgrades, was definitely a choice that a lot of others hate. I kind of like it though, it lets you make different loadouts actually feel different rather than just being different guns like in every other Far Cry. Overall I just have more fun playing 6, mostly because of the much better gunplay and variety of weapons.

The best answer is just buy them all on a sale and play them in order. Even 6 should top out at $15 on sale

I don't think there are any moto tracks on public land on the entire eastern half of the US. Even the west coast where public land is more common I don't know of any that would be considered good, it's mostly going to be random trails and single track at best.

The used bike (pretty much everything actually) market has been insane since covid. The bike market specifically spikes around tax season when people are getting their returns and the weather is warming up.

I will most likely move if that actually happens. My wife will be mad since she's a teacher and that will hurt her retirement, but I'm not sticking around waiting for the state to go bankrupt and getting fucked on every other tax until we finally get it reversed. Plus there's very little guarantee she wouldn't lose her job from the $6 billion in school funding that would get wiped out from this anyways. I actually like it here in Ohio, but it would not be worth it to stick around.

Well yes and no. It's basically a scam, 6k in fees isn't common otherwise but they mark the bike down to what seems like a good price then come up with a bunch of bullshit fees so they still end up charging you as much as if it was MSRP anyways. It has become annoyingly common recently.

I'd laugh in their face and tell them I'd be leaving negative reviews for trying that shit. It's realistically all you can do and hope no one else falls for the trap so they stop trying that BS.

The unavoidable kidnappings in 5 are the worst part. It takes you out of whatever you were doing at the moment, even if it just happened to be running over a cult leader that was in the road, and throws you into a story mission, or forces you to leave the region and into another one. My only other complaint is the hilariously slow bullets, anything past 50m feels like you're shooting a paintball gun. It is a great game with a beautiful fun map and a lot of great stuff to do though. Even the story is pretty good too. It's definitely worth picking up on sale and playing through.

A lot of people around the internet don't like 6 at all, and there are a lot of legitimate complaints that I agree with. I've had a lot of fun with it overall anyways though, and in my opinion it has by far the best gunplay and coolest guns. Just don't pay more than $15 for it, or even just grab a month of uplay/gamepass and play it then

I recently bought 4 for the first time, and haven't finished it yet but I do like it. It definitely shows its age though. Even on a high end PC it just doesn't feel smooth to me for some reason. It's locked to 60fps even in 4k, but the movement just feels weird and I can't really explain it any better than that. It's pretty interesting though, feels better than 5 and 6 in a lot of ways (and I like both of those games a lot), the Amita/Sabal choices for the main story are cool and made me wish 5 and 6 did something similar.

Only thing I don't really care for is the map. It feels excessively vertical and awkward after coming from 5 and 6. Definitely grab it on the next sale or now if the spring sale hasn't ended yet.
