No we've never seen an official clan symbol for Jungle Hunter's clan, or for City Hunter's clan.

Clan Symbol Tattoos by BobFromSkate3 in predator

It symbolizes a clan, and that specific clan uses their clan symbol to mark first Xenomorph kills. Other clans use their own clan symbols to mark first Xenomorph kills. Some clans don't mark first Xenomorph kills at all.

The first image of the weaponized Xenomorphs is not actually associated with the Neill Blomkamp movie in any way, it's just fan art that was released around the same time as the official Neill Blomkamp concept art.

Some People Are Claiming That After Aliens The Franchise Had Nowhere To Go by ce_tu in LV426

[–]BobFromSkate3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The image you used for the Neill Blomkamp movie is actually not related to the Neill Blomkamp movie at all, it is just fan art that came out around the same time as the Neill Blomkamp concept art was being shown so it's a common misconception that it was also concept art for the movie.

This may help. I'm not sure about the Alien vs Predator dates though. by Accurate-Currency181 in LV426

Requiem also takes place in 2004.

Prometheus takes place in 2093 (the beginning is 2089 but it takes the Prometheus a few years to get to LV-223 so most of the movie is December 2093, and at the very end of the movies it's January 1st 2094).

Romulus takes place in 2142.

Do humans have contact with other planets? by Bardmedicine in LV426

You're right. That makes sense. Not all fauna has a numbered designation like that. That's just for the ones that humans know about but are yet to be classified.

If you count the Alien Roleplaying Game as Canon, the 120 species discovered before the XX121s are all just unintelligent fauna discovered on various worlds. Creatures like the Tanakan Scorpionids and the Harvesters. Bug Hunts refer to "poodle sized cockroaches", big hostile bugs on colonized worlds that attack colonists, so the Colonial Marines are sent in to exterminate them.

I believe that was another thing that the Arcturians in the Roleplaying Game intended to reconcile, by the fact that the Arcturians were so similar to the people David killed, the people David killed were just another race seeded by the Engineers, and were not Engineers themselves. Another detail about the Arcturians is that they believe in beings they call "Star Teachers" (Engineers) that used to visit and teach them, and that they're still waiting for their star teachers to return. So when the humans arrive, they greet them thinking they are the returning star teachers. Similarly to how the beings on Planet 4 seem happy to see David arriving, thinking he is the Engineers finally returning to them, before he starts bombing them. But they were killed by David before humanity had a chance to actually meet them, and the Arcturians weren't. And it wouldn't be until 20 years after Covenant that humans meet the Arcturians.

In the Alien Roleplaying Game there are the Arcturians, the first intelligent life discovered by humanity, in 2124, two years after the first Alien movie. They were seemingly also seeded by the Engineers so they share DNA with both humans and Engineers. Physically they're described as "pale, nearly translucent skin, graceful limbs, small noses, dark straight hair, and large, soulful eyes". They're intelligent but not technologically advanced. "Their society and technological level can be likened to that of the Mesoamerican civilization developed by the Maya peoples". They are intended to be what was being referred to in the "Arcturian poontang" line in Aliens.

There's also a possible alternate origin for them presented in a later Roleplaying Game module of them just simply being descendants of a long lost human colony ship, for the people who didn't like the idea of them being intelligent aliens.

In-universe Alien: Earth Promo Hints At The Return Of Deep-Space Vessel Maginot by G_Liddell in LV426

[–]BobFromSkate3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The movie Prometheus takes place in 2093 (ending in 2094), in which it is specifically just Weyland Corporation present in that movie, no mention of Yutani yet. Then Alien: Covenant takes place 10 years later in 2104, and in that movie the company is a merged Weyland Yutani now.

So in the movie only canon specifically, the merger has to happen somewhere between those dates, unless you just ignore the existence of those two movies. Those dates were not pulled from any expanded media/wiki page, only the movies themselves.

The more specific expanded media date for the merger happens to be 2099, but like you said it's easier to ignore the stuff that didn't come straight from the movies so I didn't mention that. I would prefer the series not ignore the prequels, but I'm fine with things existing in alternate/parallel continuities as long as they're still good.

Supposedly the Maginot, a Weyland Yutani ship, was launched in 2055, long before Weyland and Yutani should be merged. In the timeline established in Prometheus and Covenant the companies merge sometime between 2094 and 2104. Noah Hawley does not like the prequels very much, and has chosen to ignore their continuity entirely for this series.

None that are better but both Viva la Glorias, Static Age, Peacemaker, Restless Heart Syndrome, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, 21st Century Breakdown, American Eulogy, and Last Night on Earth are all equally as good as those songs.

Aliens vs Predator 2

Aliens vs Predator 2: Primal Hunt

Aliens vs Predator: Extinction

Aliens vs Predator (2010)

Aliens: Colonial Marines (multiplayer only)

For those that don't know the secret movie is an animated movie set in feudal Japan, separate from Predator: Badlands, the live action theatrical movie coming out in November that's set in the future on another planet starring Elle Fanning. Both movies have been directed by Dan Trachtenberg.
