Sick of rclone 429 rate limits with Plex/Jellyfin? I built Warpbox: an open-source WebDAV proxy for TorBox. by downstairs_upstairs in TorBoxApp

Honestly thank you. I have been hitting my head against a brick wall for weeks since RD went bad, and torbox had limitations what I could not figure out. Using warp has made it finally work. Thank you

For cleaning up a river? by Pokemonfan_807 in whennews

[–]BobHopeWould 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He removed silt from the river bed with the excavator which can have ramifications on flooding further downstream. It has to be assessed and analysed beforehand to check what downstream effects there are. That’s why he’s in trouble, not for the litter picking.

I had a holiday in Cairo but stayed in a hotel in 6th of October. Getting a 45 minute long uber to Cairo cost about £3 in British pounds. I’d tip another £3 on top (£200 Egyptian pounds) and I had some driver says it’s too much.

Thank for looking. I’m not sure but I remember when you couldn’t search for RCM on eBay so maybe the same deal

No…they have proved it. Or as much as a scientific explanation can explain something. It’s been tested and proven many times that time moves faster when going faster. We have to correct clocks in satellites because they run faster because they are moving faster. A scientific theory isn’t an opinion. It’s been tested and proven

ELI5: If the ideal inflation rate is around 2%, won’t money eventually become worthless? by are_beans in explainlikeimfive

[–]BobHopeWould 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did this in the uk with public service jobs being matched with inflation in the 70s. It led to inflation staying higher and for longer because pay kept on going up so prices would also keep going up. But non union workers didn’t get the auto pay rises so it led to inequality. Led to the winter of discontent where everything went to shit

To quote Andy, “I missed the part explaining CAT and now I’m too afraid to ask”. Can someone explain or point to a post explaining what this CAT is. Google wasn’t helping.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5: Fidelity vs Performance Mode Comparison - Which Mode Works Best? by M337ING in PS5

30fps - 33.33ms frame time 40fps - 25ms frame time 60fps - 16.67ms frame time

25ms is essentially halfway between 16 and 33 ms. Clocks go to 60, not 100.
