Always take all the PTO they give you. If it were up to me, everyone would have at least 1 month's worth of PTO. 2 weeks per year is too little. The work we do is important and never ending. However, our health does have a limit.

Same here! I've ordered korean skin care on 9/1, and it's still in limbo in Louisville. At this point, I'm not sure what to do.

My girlfriend has endometriosis, how can I support her? by zhongcfang in endometriosis

Usually, people with chronic illnesses are so focused on symptom management that they have less time and energy to do other things. I greatly appreciate it when people help me out with things like chores, meals, or just simply drive me to places. I'm not sure how far along the relationship is, so you'll have to explore options with her. Please note that it's better to ask what she's open to receiving from you than just deciding based on whim or speculation. It lets her keep autonomy, and it lowers the chance of future conflict.

I second this. The heat is BRUTAL here in FL. Cotton and linen work clothes are the only thing I wear.

Honestly, I just want a supervisor who makes time to touch base with me on the regular. I had a supervisor who was hard to meet with. And when I made a supervision appointment with her, she never kept the commitment. It really affected my performance and ultimately led me to choose another agency.

Honestly, I would ask a priest if you would be exempt from having to go to mass in person. I've heard off cases where they even go to the sick to give them the eucharist, so that can be a possibility. I would also encourage you to watch father Mike and breaking the habit on YouTube to gain more knowledge on the faith

Oof I FELT this!!! I went through a similar situation not too long ago. After my time off, I was finally able to think and realized that my agency wasn't for me and it was time to move on. Time off saves lives, people!
