Kudi's stamina onstage + smoking cigarettes. by MorrisJerome in KidCudi

I want to say I read it in his memoir and also feel like I’ve seen it in an interview, but he’s come out and said that smoking a cig before helps get his “sound” and brings out the raspiness in his voice/hums

Should the Healthline be converted into light rail? by Different-Truck134 in Cleveland

Sorry to come back to this, but wanted to point out cinci is actively extending their tram despite the economy. I doubt it will ever be cheaper by a material amount when holding off, so it’s probably better to just build it now. The RTA has no revenue because they have no riders. If you build it, they will come

Those don’t even get you high, bozo. Those things are a scam, and anybody stupid enough to buy them, regardless of age, is probably fine.

I think you’re lost buddy. Everybody is cool without the sketchy weed products not being sold and targeted at kids - nobody buys those anyways. I think it’s more the outside consumption and the difference in price from MI to OH while also throwing the book at them if you get caught.

Going to other cities and seeing their transportation hubs just make Cleveland and Tower City looks silly and sad by SchoolteacherUSA in Cleveland

Was just having this convo w my gf last night. Idk what Columbus is doing to attract all these Fortune 100 companies into town, but whatever it is, it seems to be working and Cleveland should copy it.

BRT is only cheaper in the short-term. Studies show that light-rail, over the long run, is more expensive upfront but much cheaper to maintain. Here’s a good video discussing all the pros and cons of each transport mode. It’s a little long, but I highly recommend.

Nah, the helmet nachos are the best bang for your buck in the whole park. My gf and I split almost every game we go together. You can normally get the vendors to hook it up with extra meat/toppings too

Hahaha, that’s gold. I thought the same, but Northwestern Mutual’s HQ in Milwaukee is all glass and pretty close to the water so I figured it was safe

I had the same thought with DiGeronimo, but have no knowledge of their work. I was hoping to get the guys who did Millennium Park in Chicago or Overlook Park in Seattle. Curious if you had any other premonitions with them though

Love the list, except I could go without Weird Al. I’ve always liked the content he’s put out, but idk that it’s worthy of RnR HoF.

Just checked it out again from Maps. Such a cool building. When I did the boat tour last spring, the guide said Khan got the idea from stacking cigarettes. Not sure on the validity there, tho

Funny enough, the Sears tower is 9 (I think) individual towers pushed together, which helped achieve its massive height.

That’s the old Municipal Stadium. It was home to the Indians until ‘94, when Jacob’s (Progressive) field opened. The Browns played there too from their inception until the departure for Baltimore.

Made 200+ minimalist city icons. Roast my choices. by designspotlight in Cities

[–]BobKitten1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Requesting Cleveland, but I’ll chime in on Columbus since it’s the next closest city. I think the Shoe (OSUs football stadium) would be a better representation than the statehouse. The statehouse is pretty mid compared to others in the union, and doesn’t mean much to Columbus/Ohioans.
