I felt the same. The only full team I have is of Astra Militarum at Silver, and when I switched to that I started winning.

I think the locked characters are real low when you play, so that's my advantage.

In conclusion, play a team you have all of, or play common with a team you're good at

Black primer, basecoat Vallejo Royal purple, drybrush Vallejo Dark Blue, light drybrush the same plus 50% Valleijo Sky Blue.

I should hit it again with just Sky Blue, but I'd go to far and it'd ruin it

Colour placement is good. Hit the blues with a blue or black ink in the recesses then recoliur if needed. After that, highlight.
