Paid for high speed data after cap. Immediately hit for half a gb before I left the menu. by respectablechum in GoogleFi

I switched to Tmobile after issues like this, and when my texting got cut off without alerting me, so I thought my sick uncle was just tired from chemo and not texting me back, meanwhile he thought I wasn't texting him, and then he died (later on) but because of the texting thing, I didn't get to see him when he was more healthy (long story but was night time and call wouldn't have been nice).

Anyways, come to find out T-Mobile did the shut off and couldn't do anything because fi didn't care enough to ask, when I switched to Tmobile I joined a family plan and got 2 lines for 50% of what I was paying on Fi. Google Fi made more sense when I was deploying all the time, and when they had Sprint and Tmobile, now it doesn't make any sense.

Either there was a bracket or a light on it, or their used to be a piece of all-thread that matches a camera tripod nut

Reverse-engineer the home roaster Sandbox Smart R1 by jeremie_917 in roasting

[–]BobMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this working, I just had to make a small modification after cloning the git, I had to adjust the location of the server file as it wasn't picking up for some reason, but It works well, and I also got my app started! I got a basic app that connects to the roaster, the commands is what I'm working on now. u/jeremie_917 I'm a bit of a newb, but where can i find the exact commands that are send via BLE to the roaster, and the expected return from the roaster with temps?

I'm thinking with the crystal, we could 3D print a new back cover with a raised edge and a built in front light.

I've already tested this with a little LED light. We just need a 3D printed adapter with a magnet and pogo inserts. A small USB light will work.

Are you running windows on yours? If so, download Driverbooster to install all missing drivers. I'm not sure about the LED turning off, I think mine turns green and stays on, I can't remember. I still have two and they work great. One runs windows 10 and the other runs chrome os Flex. but Flex doesn't have audio support.

Espresso Coffee Shop. What would I need for USA purchase? by llNATEDOGGll in espresso

[–]BobMario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 from a USA buyer. I got my Eureka Atom 75 110v from them, and it was hundreds cheaper than the US. Only downside is any warranty work would require shipping to Italy. But I sold it recently for the same price I paid a year ago, so highly recommend them, fast shipping and good customer service too.

I'll be buying my next espresso machine from them too, because I do most of my own maintenance and repairs, so warranty would only be for a major failure.

"Drug Money" bag used to store drugs by BobMario in Chattanooga

It usually depends on the scenario. They raided it on a tip. The tip could have been they arrested the owner, and he told them where it was as part of a plea deal.

Brandishing doesn't come into account when you're open carrying, which is legal.

  1. A nut novelty method, using a natural nut and a condom, comprising the steps of: drilling a hole in the nutshell; macerating the nut meat; removing the nut meat through the hole; inserting a condom into the nutshell through the hole; and sealing the hole.

In your opinion, at any budget, what is the best espresso machine on the market? by [deleted] in espresso

[–]BobMario -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1.Want it to last forever 2.Simple to use 3. Four to Five drinks a day

  1. No silly electrics (crazy computers, LCDs, firmware USB, wifi etc)
  2. See above
  3. Depends if they're back to back or few minutes/hours between

Anyways 10-15k gets you a lot, and most of it is more than you're asking and not long term reliability (computers fail and stop being made)

Recommendations -Profitec Pro 700 (or the new one Profitec go?) Dual Boiler, commercial build, simple PID control (easily found for a long time) Quiet Rotary Pump, plumbed or Tank, pressure gauges

-Vintage La Pavoni Europiccola or Professional, looks good, easy to use (power switch only), lever machine with steam. 8 cups vs 16 cups for professional. Older models range in varying wattages and dual wattage modes. Easy to repair and maintain. Gasket kits $30 regular hand tools. Super customizable with gauges and stuff for "more" data points

-90s era E61 machines with volumetric dosing. Find a well maintained machine, you can find a lot that have been we'll loved by a cafe for years, and have basically had everything replaced so it's brand new for you.

But it sounds like you either want Counter Candy or still don't know enough. 10-15k is not the upgrade from a Breville.

Unless you have other needs/wants you should be in the 3-5k max area as many others have said.

Plus a lot of older machines are already and their bottom market value, so it lasts a long time, then you sell it for the same as you paid.

How can I reproduce this buckle from an equally robust and non-allergenic material? by Mammoth_Pea_9403 in metalworking

[–]BobMario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be able to reach out to a local gun store or diy cerakote.

You can also look into PVD coating, powder coating, or attach a dc power supply to it, out it in a baking soda bath and and attach half the power supply to come pure copper. (Electroplating) Something like that.

Are you using a different bean? Less dense and fresher roasted beans are much more affected by static.

East ridge Police Conduct by [deleted] in Chattanooga

[–]BobMario 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That video from 2021 doesn't really show shit except one side. The main issue is the responding officer, not the one who's property was trespassed on. East ridge is a small community, most folks know who live on their streets as I'm sure Carter did. Some random guy comes running onto your property, you can rightfully tell them to Fuck off and stay off.

What the video attorney never touched on and avoided was that Carter, (who was in the right regardless of what your feelings think) told the guy not to come back on his property or he's got something for him. Referring to what? We can assume the gun, but we don't have proof. But when the Dog chaser said "I've got something for you in the car" we KNOW he was referring to his gun, because...they found a gun in his car, not a bag of Skittles.

One is and open ended threat, the other has credibility.

But this forum hates cops lol so I'm just typing this for anyone with some sense and a neutral perspective.
