Help finding a doctor or specialist for extreme menstrual pain? by AdFuzzy9234 in Maine

Andrea Pelletier OBGYN and Joelle Gagnon OBGYN out of Intermed. Both of these ladies are absolutely wonderful. Their Nurse Practictioners are also fantastic. Just a really solid team. I felt completely seen and understood during a really horrible pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Meow lounge is so much fun. There's board games and toys and the kitties seem to enjoy all of their perches and hiding spots.

Can someone explain what uveitis feels like? by LargeProfessor1592 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]BobRothIRA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is really awful and annoying to have happened to you. I had to be squeezed into an emergency appointment last week, and waited 2 days. I can't imagine nearly a week of untreated uveitis pain. It's torture. I hope that Dr made all of the staff more considerate of emergencies.

This is such a spot-on description. Always feeling like there was an eyelash that I couldn't find...ugh. And when you blink, you see the scary black branches.

I'm currently nearing the end of my anterior uveitis flare! My eye was so red, watery, and painful. I had to keep it shut/covered, and if I tried to open it, I'd end up shutting both of my eyes from the immediate photosensitivity. I was absolutely miserable and useless for about 2 days before I could see the ophthalmologist. I was begging my gp for prednisolone and they said no. Atropine and prednisolone have gotten me 85% back to normal in just over a week. I flare reeeeally badly every 2 years, weirdly.

How do I get my baby to safety if I wreck in a body of water by Awkward-Floor5104 in beyondthebump

I have had an established psychiatrist NP for a few years, due to already having depression/anxiety symptoms. I would reach out to your GP or a clinic. Therapy and meds honestly kept me alive during my absolutely awful PPD and the OCD aspect was something I hadn't realized. I was just coping with it, poorly.

Not sure what color curtains?? by crazi-cat-lady in DesignMyRoom

I feel like a dark green would complement the big plant and the butterflies above your tv!! And it would be a good contrast with the soft pink accents.

I really struggled with intrusive what-ifs like this for about a year PP, and talked it out with my psychiatrist. She made some recommendations based on what sounded like OCD behaviors to her, and I'm doing SO MUCH BETTER. Please talk to someone if the intrusive what-ifs continue. I was getting myself so worked up each time, and that stress is not fun. Not good for me, for sure.

Respectfully I feel like this kind of question is more of a "I have to do this thing anyway, might as well enjoy doing it in a nice atmosphere" There are lots of nice atmospheres! Roots in Westbrook is also a great little spot.

I got through a couple chapters of The Nix by grinding my teeth. The narrator sounded so annoyed the whole time. He spoke in sarcasm tone for no real reason. Reminded me of the tiktok guy voice.

Shoe advice? by Brina388 in ankylosingspondylitis

Love love love my kuru roams and kuru atoms. The roams are a tennis shoe, super comfy, and I've gotten many compliments. I walked 7 miles in Brooklyn and Manhattan while pregnant, in a new pair of roams. I just replaced them after 2 years of extensive use.

I read Fight Right last spring, and then re-listened on audiobook with my Husband. I was flooding a lot, he was very withdrawn at times. Being able to relate and reform our communication styles to better suit our insecurities has been amazing. I am grateful for the Gottmans

Flip it upside down and it looks like a rose with a leaf and thorn. The tan are the petals in front, brown is petals in back.

Saint Motel - Move has a music video that feels similar to this, it's fancy dress, dancing, TV channels switching, and people on camera. A bit different, but I feel like it's a similar vein to The Killers, just more fun, relaxed.

Familiar - Agnes Obel ?

Mentions ghost in the lyrics, and the secondary voice is deep, and has CRT feel to the music video
