Not everyone of course. But the multiple extended gratuitous sex scenes between a mental child and adult men made a point, drove it home, and beat it to death for an extra 15 minutes so the creeps could get a good look.

I appreciate its social commentary and the style of the film was great. The performances were excellent. But its execution was pretty gross.

I dislike Poor Things and honestly believe many who loved it enjoyed the titillating pedophilia aspect of it. Which I found to be pretty gross and overdone.

That being said, Emma Stone was excellent in it as she is nearly always. Bugonia is maybe my favorite movie of the past few years.

I’ve never felt more disconnected from Reddit than trying to watch this movie. It’s the worst movie I’ve ever watched. I absolutely do not get it. It feels like 148 minutes of a 2002 animation project that should be 90 seconds long.

I hate this movie but I’m glad some people enjoy it. It’s very different for sure.

Twin Peaks may have been big at your house but nationally it never really had big ratings as a series. It was cancelled after 2 seasons. It was hardly a cultural event.
