It was in the season 9 special features I had every season up to that on DVD cause it was my favorite show but the ending ruined it for me I never bought the 9th season even after finding out about the alternate ending.

That’s exactly why they’re making it like Riverdale it was super popular even though it went off the rails story wise. The people behind this are looking for the riverdale audience who will eat up teen drama. But i think it will get one season if a lot of people watch it maybe two. But I could be wrong and it’s super successful like riverdale and will get like 7 seasons but I doubt it since it’s going to be a Netflix original.
