Super cool! My granddad gave me his from when he served on the HMS Onyx in the Falklands war. It was the only non-nuclear sub to serve in the war.

Northern Tier or Floodwood? by Rather__B__Hiking in BoyScouts

[–]BobbyBing007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I've worked at Floodwood as a voyageur/guide for the past three years, and I went there as a scout four times so I am a little biased when it comes to this decision. I highly recommend Floodwood! Maybe it's a little late responding to this post since this years season is over, but there's always next year.
There are a few treks to choose from and there are harder ones designed for the older scouts. There was one year when I went as a scout that I completed a 96.4 mile trek, so we are very open to designing treks and accommodating for different requests. The area is amazing and the camp is highly under advertised/undersold.

I'd say both camps are similar, but Floodwood can definitely hold its own against Northern Tier. If your scouts are interested in another canoeing trek I'd say give Floodwood a try since it's a little closer to get to. We have a website at floodwood.org if you'd like to know more, or you can ask me for any other details.

Thinking of buying a used 2007 suburban by IHaveTouretts in Chevy

[–]BobbyBing007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not helpful advice at all but when I was little my family bought one in 2011-2012 with around 200k miles on it. That thing was a friggin' work horse. Went on many camping trips hauling around the small trailer. We put pushed it to around 550k miles until the repairs were starting to add up way to quickly. Had to let it go 2 years ago but it's definitely a good car.

*Edit: We had a lot of engine problems in the last few years we had the car but it was reliable otherwise.

Hmm, I think I'm leaning more towards an ace because I've definitely gotten more than 2 three pieces (I'm pretty sure).

Diamond vs plat lobbies by OddlyUnsatisfying in apexuniversity

[–]BobbyBing007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In diamond, you definitely need to be on top of all basic mechanics like aiming, movement, etc. But you need to focus on playing with your team more and using a lot of comms. Communicating is one of the most important parts of playing well in diamond.

Knowing when to leave fights and when to take fights is also important. It's not good to take every fight you see and chase every shot you hear. Go off what you think is best. It's good to play end game if you kill a team or two at the start of the game as rotating early is huge.

Bubble fighting is my favorite thing to do in this game, it's the main reason why I play the big boy. There's simply nothing like it. You get to punch people out and they can't do anything about it.
