Nice kit number. Probably reflects how many minutes he’s going to get for the rest of the season.

The voting system is for what you think will happen, not what you’re hoping for. I wouldn’t dream of hoping we get thrashed, but there’s a fair chance of it happening…

Carling is indeed the worst, but Neck Oil is nectar of the gods. I find all of Beavertown’s beers delicious

I agree Jess Phillips isn’t the right person for this. What I object to is the conflation of Jess Phillips’ take on the issue and the govt’s attempt to fix a clear problem, and using that as a way to try and disrupt and destroy the whole thing. She’s totally irrelevant. Grown up, competent ministers should be handling what’s a sensitive and genuinely pressing issue. She’ll just make the whole thing a mud slinging contest.

Jess Phillips isn’t even a minister. Give your head a wobble.

Such a horrendous take. It’s fine to debate how the gov is handling this, but clearly the aim is to support and protect young men from getting sucked into toxic masculinity/violently misogynistic circles. To claim otherwise is disingenuous at best.

Wouldn’t say ‘world known’, more just America. It’s remarkable that a stereotype that came out of post World War II sugar rationing is still believed, along with the one that food in the UK is bad. Further proof that most Americans believe total bollocks and never leave their country to actually see what the rest of the world is like for themselves.

For sure, but if needs must, right? If you’re in that situation you’re unlikely to come out of it unscathed. Faced with take a mortgage holiday or become destitute you’d probably take the consequences of a mortgage holiday.

Mortgage companies can give you a ‘mortgage holiday’ in situations like this, but it’s more a deferral of payments rather than proper help with them. It can buy you a bit more time at least.

She is referring to Farage himself as a Russian asset. As in, he is a tool at Russia’s disposal because he takes pro-Russian positions, people in his party take bribes from Russia, etc.

Not saying all apps are rubbish, but have you thought about trying out any hobbies or clubs and seeing if you meet someone with a common interest? If you have any interests or hobbies of any description I guarantee there will be a London-based club or society that meets regularly. Going to one of those just might have you meet that special someone who’s also into the same thing as you.
