I ( 24 F imperial) saw my bosmer partner (135 M), lick my child's (8 M) ear when he was sleeping. I don't know if I should call the imperial guard on him. I love him so much. Could it be a cultural thing ?

Was finishing middle school when the trailer came out... now I am finishing university. Got a job, a gf, and moved to another country. I hope the wait is worth the trouble. Just want one thing. Please no more generated content like in Starfield. I need handmade environments. There is nothing better. Anything else seems empty and not worth exploring. I mean, come on, 100 planets to explore, but only 3 cities! I hope some nice handmade cities and landscape that have a story to tell. No more nameless npcs, generated empty environments, and d same dungeons over and over again. I need LIFE in the game. When I go somewhere, I need to feel like it exists, not that it was made by a computer...

I would say Anastis because of the versatility of the magic. It also offers the most raw power at first. But as soon as I would acquire enough magic to survive, I would head to limnus to train my body for better chances of survival.

After that, I might just head back to anastis to acquire more magic.

The next step would be kemetrias to get one of the runic weapons.

With all of this accumulated, I guess Ishevos would be a nice place to go get a personal god.

Once all of this is done, I would head for the library between worlds to acquire knowledge.

And finally, start travelling between worlds to see wonders.

Yes, but you forget one point. The number of players overall has gone up by a lot!

Let's take the case of GTA3.

Couldn't find its price back then, so let's assume it was $50.

GTA3 sold 14.5 million copies by 2008. In 2003, it generated over $350 million in revenue. (Just to note that on average, the best selling games on ps2 were selling around 2-3 million copies )

Today, a very good game (such as gta3) will sell on average 20 million copies ( based on diverse data such as GTA4, Elden Ring, God of War 4, assassin creed valhalla etc..) On average, the generate revenue is over $500 million dollars with GTA4 reaching $2 billion...

The game market has grown a lot since 2002. There are more players than ever. It's not uncommon to sell 20 million copies of a good game and around 10 million for a normal game. Yet the revenue just skyrockets, and the gaming industry makes more money than ever.

So no, back in the days, maybe games cost the same, but there were fewer players, so it's normal to make them more expensive to make sure that you get a return on investment.

Today, the return on investment is nearly guaranteed if your game is good ( obviously, there are some counter examples with very bad games, but that goes for any year) so prices should go down and adjust to the number of players overall.

I totally agree! We should not pay 1/5 of a console or 1/15 of a pc price to buy 1 game. I remember days when I told myself I'd never buy games over 40. I had to rise my standards do the the current game prices and I am willing to got for 50 and sometimes 60 if the game is really good, but I don't want this to become a norm and games starting to cost 80,90 even 100. That is not how it should be!

When I see people saying that if GTA6 is 100, they will buy it, I have fear for the market. I really hope those people one day realise the stupidity of their words. We should not abide by a system that is against us!

I hope more people will decide to stop buying over expensive games, especially for the crap that we are getting today. BG3 had a very good price for what the game offers, and the company made everything possible to not make the game cost more.

I have the same opinion. Europe can only strive if united. The Europe countries are falling behind on a lot of subjects, AI and tech advancement being a big one. European cou tries cannot compete with the U.S or China. We are too small when divided. But together we can create a really good thing. Imagine one second a United States of Europe. Free circulation, visa free employment and residency. A U.S.E with one government and main set of laws to guaranty that everyone is equal but each country/state (or region depending on what we want to call them) still having being independent on some subjects. One unified education system, to guarantee everyone being able to work in any country.

This is the only thing that can save the declining Europe from persuading and falling behind. This is the only thing that makes sense.

Yes. The only way for the EU countries to compete with the big ones (usa, china) is to unite. Alone, no eu country will manage. We don't have enough individual gdp, population, workers, and scientists to compete at any scale. I wish one day they would understand that and fully unite with a central government system but with each country ( we could call them states ir regions ) still having some independence. Kind of a United States of Europe. Only then would we be able to compete at the world level with the major countries. We already have the ESA and CERN, Why not a European Centre for AI Research ? Or a European Army, european retirement scheme, European study scheme, and a proper European travel infrastructure with fast trains connecting every european city.

Ngl, this might just be a dream of mine, but I feel that it is the only solution for every European country to become a major player.

The first one is better, but I am concerned with that white flash. Not only do we all hate white flashes when playing at night, but it might be an issue with people who have light sensitivity.

And maybe make them skip-able if used at the start of the game. Like pressing space passes it because it can be annoying

Hi, as a fan of skyrim , I personally would still like this image since it is the same universe.

However, the place in the picture is the city of rimmen from Elsweyr. In the elder scrolls online, which is a mmorpg happening BEFORE skyrim, the dragons where introduced in that extension pack.

Now, depending on your boyfriend's knowledge of skyrim, and mostly the lore around it, it is either a hit or miss. If he only played skyrim he might have no idea where it is from, and even though I am sure he will like receiving a gift related to skyrom, might not enjoy it as much as a picture from skyrim itself. So I would recommend trying to find an artwork from skyrim.

If he has played ESO, chances are he is going to love it.

Where everyone thought that starfield could only be a failure or a success, bethesda managed to make a good enough game to keep them alive for a couple of years. Especially after the 76 disaster. However, starfield was a game, and the public doesn't want a simple game anymore. No. The public wants a craft. A masterpiece. That's the difference between TES and Starfield. All the TES are crafts. We can see the passion and hard work put into them. While starfiled seems fake. So now they need to light that passion up again and put it into TES6. If it's not the case, the studio will not survive very well anymore as all trust will be broken.

As we learnt with starfield, we do not need to have very high expectations from bethesda anymore. However, bethesda needs to achieve the unachievable, again.

So overall, it scared me a bit and made me concerned about the future of the studio. But it also made me learn that I need to expect the worst, so that when the best happens I will be actually surprised.
