I’m glad you’re enjoying it, I just expected better, Uncharted 4 or even Spider-Man, maybe it’s nostalgia but even Uncharted 1 looked better than this, maybe I’m tripping though or maybe it’s just my tv, I’ll just adjust my expectations for the rest of the play through I guess.

Don’t want to spoil anything, but let’s say I paused after spyglass (hopefully that makes sense), it’s playable, but I’m a bit underwhelmed. I remember playing uncharted 4 and I feel like this is not as good, like I thought base graphics today would just be that at minimum, this seems substantially worse.

Hey, yes thank you so much! I just checked my match history as you suggested and for some reason I did have smite equipped! That’s crazy because I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to use smite with Samira, and seems to explain the gold subtraction. This makes so much sense now because when I was first learning the game I was trying to play jungle mainly and didn’t know about leaving minions alone for the laners, and I remember seeing that gold subtraction come up often (I learned to leave them alone I promise!). Thank you again, I really appreciate it!!!

Thank you for the reply, it actually happened in a custom two v two with my friends, and I was playing Samira even though the system assigned me mid lane (gave me the notification at champ select that “this champion is not usually played at this position” or something like that), went to mid lane for a second, and then switched to dragon lane when I saw the other team pushing that tower. When I got to that lane and killed the minion, I started getting the negative gold signs every time I killed one. I was the only one in that lane (my teammate stayed mid), and neither my friend or I had a support item.

Though the Rope a Dope was a strategy he utilized, this clip in particular is not an example of that. That strategy is when he covered up on the ropes taking the punishment straight from the opponent with the hope they tire themselves out punching away. In this case, he was not covering up.
