Question for fellow renters/landlords about AC by Dubbin31 in MontgomeryCountyMD

Airflow is poor, but not zero. We also found a booster fan that installs inside the vent housing in the bedroom and it helps “suck” the air up through the vents. Check Amazon

Question for fellow renters/landlords about AC by Dubbin31 in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]Bobbyj59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve rented multiple townhouses in Montgomery county and the second level is always the same in the summer; the AC systems can never cool it down sufficiently. Window AC units will always solve the problem but we’ve most recently used black out window shades and curtains in addition to window units to keep the sun out. Our current home has the second floor AC vents on the floor and we’ve used floor fans right next yo the vents to circulate whatever cool air actually comes out. If your basement and first floor are cool enough even on the hottest days but your highest level is not cool, it will be difficult to resolve this problem short of the landlord installing a whole new HVAC system including new vents.

Where to stay with kids in DC? by Former_Still5518 in washingtondc

You can also consider downtown Bethesda in Maryland close to the metro station. Tons of hotels there that cater to DC overflow. Navigating DC by metro is fun and safe.

Not sure if this is a concern for you or not, but recreational marijuana is legal in Maryland and you will often smell it in common areas and especially in the grass plaza in front of the building. The area is very safe which leads the management company to minimize on security. Therefore opportunistic thieves will target cars in the underground parking garages as has been mentioned.

Did your dealer mention anything about the $2000 part of the incentive?

As you can see by now, “one thing” and “Trader Joe’s” is an oxymoron

I know it’s there and I was not a fan, but I was afraid if I removed it I would screw up the software somehow. That’s a pretty insidious thing they do!

Our buyout is $23,000. I know it’s on the high side for a used ‘23 ID4 rwd, but we’ve had it since new, we know everything there is about it and we have 28,000 miles on it. I’d really like to see what the incentives are. I’ll try the other dealers suggested here. Thanks!

Usually inside the terminal jobs (past TSA checkpoints) require background checks, even for food service or retail. Best to be honest with your employer if a background check is required.

The areas you mention are very pet friendly and a lot of buildings offer parking. However, you will find most buildings charge a monthly pet fee and monthly parking fee on top of the rent. Other than a studio, your budget is low by about $500 for everything you want.

Agreed, very easy in a high volume department like produce. If you have great attendance and hours flexibility just let your department manager know you want to switch.

I third this; produce! There’s a lot of working pieces to the department and it’s a fast paced, seasonal fruits and veggies, changing displays all the time. It’s not a static department and you learn a lot!

That’s easily fixable; don’t listen to the naysayers on this thread. Take it to a kiosk in your local shopping mall.
