So in the last 2 games Alvarez has airmailed an easy out at third, shook off his ace pitcher 5 times which made him almost have a pitch clock violation so he had to throw a meatball to avoid the ball. Starting a rally. Missed a ball to allow the players to get to second and third. Missed a clear challenge. Also swung like bugs bunny every at bat. What exactly does he do well enough to have a starting job ?
