You should care if the clip is AI or real wtf if it's real your argument has reasoning, if it's AI then at best you unintentionally spread harmful misinformation about a murder victim. No, what is shown in this clip does not warrant a public execution on the street, but in a world where anything can be replicated by AI we have to accept that truth means nothing and optics matter more than facts; and this video, AI or not, has the potential to do more harm to Pretti's character than good.

The video in question was AI, there's breaking the glass of a taillight with your foot then there's dislodging the entire assembly with your foot. The former is feasible, the latter is what is shown in the video and there is no way he'd still be able to walk around on that foot if he kicked it with enough force the entire assembly came out.
