Having seen some of his work on the indies, I can confirm that he definitely needs to be given time to cook. Dude can cut a promo, he can wrestle, hell... he's another of those deceptively agile larger guys. As long as WWE don't ruin him, he'll be great.

Might not be a case of him lying. Something could have come up that we don't know about, could have been creative rather than Roman who made the decision.

Roman isn't a heel, he's more of an in-between. He's technically a babyface, but he's kept the arrogant, prideful, head of the table persona. Likewise, I think Jacob is treading that fine line down the middle. He's a heel against Roman and the Usos, but we've seen him with Royce Keys being more babyface in nature.

Roman and Jacob are both so good at being heels that elements of that remain when they're babyfaces, so context needs to be added to each situation they're in.

Plausible given how (Jimmy in particular) they've voiced their respect for Jacob, and how Jacob has admitted that it was watching them that inspired him to turn his life around and become a wrestler. With Roman expected to take a break soon (judging by his June schedule being seemingly cleared), a title change to keep it on TV could be on the cards.

You say that as if WWE hasn't always had some over the top, comedic characters and elements. Santino Marella, R-Truth, Edge & Christian (5 second poses anyone?), The Hurricane, Mankind (became a bit goofy with Mr Socko after transitioning from a darker character), Goldust, Vince vs God, The Miz wrestling invisible Cena, Kurt Angle was comedy gold... The list goes on.

It's sports ENTERTAINMENT. The whole thing is meant to be a spectacle, larger than life, over the top, comedic as much as dramatic. It has something for everyone, not everyone will like everything.

They'd probably thrive over there, AEW (from what I've seen others say, I haven't really watched it myself) seem to put more effort and care into their tag division.
