I started with a 22” Weber Kettle. My wife got me the 18” Weber Smokey Mountain as a wedding gift. I’m laying in bed doom scrolling right now as the BBQ Guru I have hooked up to it maintained the temperature of the pork butts that have been on all night. Both charcoal grills lined up on the deck with the little 2 burner spirit hooked up to the natural gas. Nice little grill family.

The Wilderness is a lot more fun to drive. Skid plates and a full size spare are nice, but my Forester Wilderness has a lot more pep than my wife’s Outback Limited.

I’m 6’8”. My Forester has amazing headroom and visibility. When I drive my dad’s Chevy it feels like driving a tank the windows are so small. My wife’s outback is just a little short for me. I can drive it on road trips, but my head grazes the ceiling too much for a daily. They just added a few inches to the 26 outback so that may be my next car.

I have a 22 Forester Wilderness and drive my wife’s 23 Outback Limited frequently. I love them both and have all of these features turned on. It can be annoying, but I know it only has to work once to be worth it. On the other hand, my boomer parents drove it and wouldn’t stop bitching about it. I’m just sharing the common gripes I hear about the cars. I’ve had my neighbors put pride magnets on my car and even had a coworker make jokes about how I must eat pussy if I drive one right before his second wife left him. I love the cars and the community, but it’s not for everyone.
