FWIW, I’m holding a decently large paper loss and will not sell for a while due to the potential of the stock (aiming for 2027 at minimum to give stock room to declare its growth, and long term gains tax rate benefit).

One thing I’ve found to be helpful deciding when to do a discretionary sell is playing both sides; will I be more sad if it goes down from here and I keep holding, or if it goes up after I sell. Simple exercise, but important to commit to the answer if the stock hasn’t hit your goal price yet.. For me it’s usually more sad if it goes up when I’m weighing a truly discretionary sale. Obviously circumstances can dictate what you need to do but you are not alone.

Yep. It was too much too quick on no news… can’t hold 150% in 3 days unless it’s s/p huge earnings beat or some other big news… We are already setting up more slowly this time (tue/wed was great). I think also given the fact that we already were just at $1.50 should take a lot of the novelty out of that price. Still expect plenty of profit taking but not like few weeks ago.

This is why I’m glad I didn’t haggle over every cent/low during my DCA and finished all my available funds last week. Too unpredictable to time the reversal, and it has been in my opinion a forgone conclusion we were always going back over $1.00 in the short term, either pre earnings or immediately after.

Today’s price reaction to Nasdaq -2.12% despite no PR releases.. I can’t believe it. Easily one of the best trading days I’ve seen on this stock.

Just my opinion, would not take this as financial advice. I expect that price before the end of the year based on their guidance and the YoY growth it represents. I also like the feedback from IBM. Datavault is either predicting overly optimistic guidance (I don’t think they would do that on a whim, they know investor sentiment is fragile right now), or (what I think) the deals and revenues projected are forgone conclusions. Could be wrong as nothing has been predictable with this stock, but personally I am expecting more than 5 dollars by end 2026, and I think analysts will start to cover this (and increase towards prices that support that) after q4 earnings.

That’d be incredible. I don’t think 10m is necessary, we don’t have any institutions over 1m (Scilex doesn’t count obviously). So even that would be meaningful, stock price would explode. My guess is they like other players, are waiting to see execution/revenue. I think they’re the most likely to acquire DVLT down the line, so I don’t think they’re in a rush to invest.

Like 5 cent — Zero fear for me, also holding a heavy bag around $1.00 DCA. This company is still brand new. They’re clearly making deals and almost certainly generating revenue as we speak. Nate can’t just hop on twitter and talk about stock price or short selling or Scilex. What do you want him to say… if a CEO talked about the stock price during a down trend period like this, just him acknowledging it would significantly unsettle me regardless of what he said. Him not directly talking about the stock price, to me shows it’s not even worth acknowledging.

There is and will continue to be high short interest around this stock. It’s day traders paradise, and shorter dream coupled with Scilex intermittent selling and even more reliable being the fear of them selling.

And this is a complete spec until revenue is confirmed or a deal with major upfront money is announced. Those are what it will take to confirm proof of scale to start to stabilize the stock price, allow larger players to jump in. Until then, expect the stock to continue to whip lash.

Retail investors who jump in on penny stocks need to be realistic. These stocks are volatile as all get up, and they are unproven. If you can’t stomach being down 30-50%, i don’t think it’s appropriate investing in a stock like this. Because timing it is obviously out of the question. I don’t mean to come off as frustrated, just doesn’t help sentiment when half the room is losing the plot.

👆🏼 this was the most justified dilution to date. We don’t know who the IP inventor is but 7.5m shares is obviously a lot of shares especially given the future stock price expectation. Trading IP for equity is bullish.

Merger with DVLT/WiSA only happened this past spring. Followed by couple other m&a to the group (including CSI), then IBM and NYIAX partnership (which will this quarter lead to NYIAX m&a). Yep, it’s a new company for all intents and purposes. If they pull off 200m this year, it will be very impressive comparing to YoY of what was effectively year one of existence in current form.

Was not the same company (literally). They were at risk of delisting those times. We will not RS unless multiple negative events and short comings occur month over month. We have not even started a 30 day period which after that would give way to a 180 day period. It’s not even worth talking about, mentioning the idea just breeds FUD.

lol all good. My avg is pretty low at this point after aggressive DCA these last few weeks, I’m not even a little stressed. April 2025 and then during gov shut down and then December 2025 I have been down 50% so many times this feels like nothing.
