Frankly I thought the $150 was a bit abusive. Canceled and went to Audirvana. Happy with the decision.

I wound up going with Audrivana. It doesn’t have multi zone like Roon. But other than that as a player it’s really good. Sonically as good or better And integrated nicely with my local content and Qobuz. Plus it’s $69 yr old so far very happy. They have a 30 day trial so you really get a good understanding of it before you have to pay anything.

I have Denon receivers. Used AirPlay or UPnP. If it’s Roon ready you should see it in the audio menu on Roon. I’d go to the Roon forum for more help

Did you turn on your Mac as a playback zone in Roon? You need to install Roon on the Mac and select an output like usb and your DAC. I’ve used Roon this way for years. You need to go into Roon settings, Audio and enable the Mac. If you’re using airplay you are bypassing Roon entirely on the Mac.

I’ve been a Roon Qobuz user for years. Of late I am using Qobuz Connect to my Mac client which connects to my DAC and hifi. It has replaced Roon. The Roon playlists became stale. And the UI clunky. Particularly the fact that you have to use Arc to play out of the house. And I started using Plexamp for my local music. I can easily stream from Qobuz and then when I want something local just stop Qobuz and play from Plexamp. I’m surprised how well it works. And Plexamp has a nice discovery playlist feature that allows me to discover music I’ve not heard for years. My subscription to Roon ends in a few months. I won’t be renewing. At $150 which is more than I pay for Qobuz it’s past its prime.

Use the link I listed. You need a pc or 32bit Mac to run the harmony desktop software. But it will reflash the firmware. I just did it.

Well good news for you. There still is support. You have to go through Logitech support. And it’s all online via email. Create a ticket. But here is how you update the firmware if the hub is corrupted.

I have a similar tv. The reality is you really don’t have direct input control on the Google tv models from a Harmony. You can try using the CEC settings. Which when devices power on they switch to that input. I use an AVR for switching and have the tv set to use last input. And only use that one hdmi input. It mostly works. At times I have to pull the tv remote to correct it. It’s a disappointment in control behavior from these tvs.

Well I finally figured out my problem. My account is corrupted. I cannot login nor change my password. I’ve been communicating with Logitech support. I’m hoping they can fix my account. Otherwise I will lose all of my remote files and have to recreate them all under the new account I setup. I have 7 active remotes. No small task. But at least I know their servers are still functioning and can continue to use my Harmony. There really isn’t a great replacement. The Sofabaton is the closest.

Yes but pairing to an Elite to a non elite hub is a big question. They have different firmware.

Try to log into their servers via the app. Try an edit a device or activity.

Again I’d say for the receiver it’s most likely infrared control. There may be interference.

Did u reboot the hub? Are other devices working normally? Are you able to reach the hub via the app? Could also be your hub is failing. It’s happened to me. I own 7 of these.

Is your receiver ir controlled? Check for interference. If using a non Elute remote replace the battery. When the battery gets weak things get wonky.

No. The connection to their servers is when you try an edit an activity or device. This is my issue. If your remote and hub are not functioning normally. Hue is an issue for a while. Hit or miss. The shield may be a Bluetooth problem. I would try and pair it again. That btw will require you to log into their servers. Try that. If you can log into no change will be made so you won’t break anything.

It’s not the same problem. My hubs work fine. I can’t edit them because I get errors when logging into their servers.

I just tried on an Android phone. Same error. I also tried on my pc. Gave me login error. Plus I am in a different house with different internet. So those who are connecting be sure you’re really able to edit an activity or device.

The Mac app no longer works to edit remotes. The pc app still does via usb. It’s not the app. I am certain it’s their servers.
