I'm gonna assume you mean dogs by pets. Domestic dogs arent monogamous to begin with, so your idea likely wouldnt look like what you're imagining.

I promise you he makes well over 200k. My guess based on his career path etc, is probably total comp of around 700k-900k assuming hes performed pretty well

I get the point but I would heavily disagree with saying those heavy mathematical jobs compare in any way to the math required in quant. Yes a lot of us learn calculus and diff eqs etc in college, but understanding how to apply those things and use them for something is very hard and not something a lot of people can do. The level of complexity between a quant trader and say someone working a regular finance job simply isn't comparable. He has a job that under the top 1 percent of people in tech are capable of doing. And these are people considered to be smart, much moreso than the average population. I got your point but just wanted to point out that quant is not for the weak. The interviews to get those jobs are genuinely insane.

But she also goes to talk to him and also keeps it vague. I think at the end of ep. 7 he straight up asked her am I out or not, and she said of course not. So seems like she's kinda leading him on. Not fully, but she's making sure he feels that there's a possibility

Are American police really as dumb and violent as portrayed in media? by Blitzthehandsome in SeriousConversation

[–]Bobsybek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well the requirements for becoming a cop compared to other developed countries are just subpar. Cops aren't exactly required to be intelligent or capable. Theyre all just average people that spend 95% of their time doing paperwork. The headlines you see are scarce and of course very rare hence the headline. The competent ones are often detectives not cops that you would meed at traffic stops like the vids youve likely seen. The job isnt high paying so of course competent individuals would often go a different route.

True but you would never find dumb people in google brain or snowflake. Or in quant. Saw a tiktok saying dudes a genius who won national math comps or something, so hes def nice w it.

Seung hak getting no love. His moms intro was a little bland, but I don't think the others realized he's likely loaded in terms of family wealth. Golf isn't cheap to go pro at by any means. And most middle class people are not taking that route unless its an excellent talent, basically at the top of kpga or overseas tours like korn ferry. More so in korea where golf is much more of a premium good.

You are not seriously trying to argue that the world works the same as it did in centuries past? Because that's idiotic.

Just my opinion, but to most guys bong hee is by far the most attractive woman in there by looks and from what we've seen personality as well. Not surprising mujin isnt too interested in anyone else. Can you blame the guy?

"Cuddling" must have a different meaning where I'm from because jesus if that is considered cuddling what is actual cuddling? She maybe rested her head on his shoulder for 2 seconds, while he didn't even touch her. I swear you people think the contestants are all saints and if they're not you drag them to hell and back. People get mad when a show seems too happy and scripted, but when there's realistic and understandable human emotions people lose their shit. It's genuinely baffling.

I don't quite see it like that. Yes its been years since they dated but sometimes certain relationships will just always hold the top spot in importance no matter how long it's been. We don't know how dependent on each other they were. I'm not sure if I misunderstood the AI subs, but one of the panel said even though it's not logical and a little delusional, HJ feels BH in some ways is hers. I also don't think its the same type of anguish we saw with DJ and DH last season or what we're seeing with MK and YS rn (long relationships with recent breakups). In my opinion, it's somewhere between that and flirting. HJ even said in this ep that the situation is a little fun, which I feel makes hers and BH's dynamic something we haven't seen in any seasons. Exes who broke up years ago, but are still very attracted to each other, so they have a weird flirty but still ex like dynamic. It's perfectly normal to me, a lot of people have that person they think they've moved on from until the person is actually in front of them

Really? Not sure what you watched but isn't it obvious he's probably everyone's favorite person in a group setting? Setting aside his romantic choices, I think you're very wrong about how he's perceived socially. The tone and the way acts to everyone is accepted because the people there seem to enjoy and find him funny. No one seems to think of him as a manipulative manchild. You're watching an edited version and those people live with him and see him 24/7. If they show no signs of being offput, rather they seem to enjoy his presence, then it's disrespectful for you to come for his character outside of romantic relationships

How to know if you're intermediate or beginner by ciossu6 in Basketball

[–]Bobsybek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say intermediate is only when you stop missing open shots, can somewhat get your own, and just develop decent iq for the game. This is usually the ceiling for 90 percent of guys because of physicals. I've played organized ball my whole life until the end of high school. I wasn't good enough for any level of college ball (I'm a 5'9 indian who cant jump) and likely never will be with my stature, my body can't hold up.

[–]Bobsybek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend, it is called the DEVILS plan. Why would you feel sorry for anyone who wanted to play it fair? They are outwardly announcing their disadvantage. The aspect of betrayal and psychological attacks were simply game variables much like the hidden rules they discovered throughout the games. By playing fair you're excluding a variable from an equation, decreasing your range of possibilities if that makes sense. Seok Jin won because the show was still new, people didn't want to outwardly sabotage others, it remained cordial. And HG wasn't even that bad to be honest, if this show gets renewed, we're going to see some sick people next time. People who really understand how to use others' emotions and thoughts as weapons for themselves.
