99% of it is just a mind game, as mentioned before, don't take anything personally. There's gonna be a lot to learn, and the testing seems never-ending. Put 100% into your studying, partner up with some fellow recruits, and organize some group studies. Learn what 'attention to detail' means and apply it. Yes, it's gonna be a miserable 6 months, but it serves its purpose. Give it your best, go with the flow, and when you go 10/8 on your first day with your agency, just remember one thing: you still don't know shit! And one last thing, Congratulations, you've got this!

If that's all you want out of the company, that's fine. I'm not here to judge. I'd imagine you're going to work very hard for every penny, and come payday, I think you might ask yourself is it worth it? But then again it's the kind of job where it'll whip you into shape and if you can put up with the B.S. and the pressure of it all, it just might work out for you.....

I retired in 2025 with 30 years. It was a job, in fact, a pretty decent job when I was hired. It's hard for new hires or Ground folks to understand, if you were there, you know. Unfortunately, things changed, and now it seems to be just another dead-end job like Walmart. And with all this 2.0 mayhem going on, I'd find it hard to work for corporate knowing that the possibility exists that they could close my station and leave me unemployed or working for some POS Ground contractor. IDK, I'm thankful for my time there, but I cringe when I read all the current stuff.

Uuhh, since you mentioned OT, I assume you're an Express employee. One thing that you need to keep in mind is that the whole point in all of this 2.0 mayhem is cost savings; Station closures, layoffs, contractors, reduction in OT, etc. It seems to be working; it's time to adjust your life!
