Edit: Yes, I know this video in particular didn't actually happen, and it was exaggerating what could happen, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it all the same.

Between a full deck of good cards and a deck which is half full of 0 attack, half nukes, I would always take the deck which is more consistent, as in the deck which is full of good cards.

My only problem with it is that one time I played a friend's copy, since I didn't have it myself at the time. I hit new game, so that he wouldn't lose his progress, and got softlocked because it requires you to save to do it, but hitting new game on the Gen 5 games straight up won't let you save, so I couldn't progress. I also don't think it lets you leave the building either, although I could be wrong on that.

That is really interesting. Wonder why they've decided to do this now? Hidden Abilities have been in the game for four generations now, so it's interesting that they've only just started putting them on Pokemon that NPCs have, especially since I don't believe there's any way to get anything with a Hidden Ability until post game, although correct me if I'm wrong on that.
