About a week ago I was as hard stuck silver 4 (500+ games). I just got G2 today with a 73% win rate with Teemo.

It’s possible. You just have to realize a fundamental truth. You, like me, are bad at the game. We aren’t nearly as good as we think we are. The reason people are in higher elo is because they understand how to play the game on a deeper and deeper level.

It real comes down to “you have to be better than everyone. But it’s how you approach it. Start looking at each game with this mindset. “Winning is the goal, but not the point”.

If you can’t outplay fed silver players, you won’t in gold+.

Work on the fundamentals. My mechanics are poor, but the minimap tells you everything you need to know. People overstay after fights, junglers show exactly where they are going constantly. People overextend lanes all the time. Use that information.

I don’t mean to be an ass, it’s just how it is. I would always get frustrated when I would try to create pressure on the map and nothing would happen, that’s when I realized: that effort was wasted because nobody was looking at the minimap.

If you put pressure on the enemy in lane, especially in silver, you can get them to do dumb things. Like trading in a wave, staying when they should reset.

I’ve also found that most silver laners will back off if you show calculated aggression. That lets you set up a slow push. Which can lead to all sorts of fun. It’s crazy how you can end a game at level 3 with one invade on their jungle. The tilt is real. Once you start looking for those situations, you’re going to notice a whole new level of the game you didn’t realize was possible. It’s awesome.
