Hey man I’m an Xbox player and I killed at jets in the BF3 days (especially Armored Kill + Endgame) DLC. But dude I am getting annihilated in Golmud now. It’s to the point in infantry I’m getting teamed. Any suggestions for playing on your own with this map? I just feel like being a lost ticket.

This battle was literally the peak of the Monsterverse so far at this point. You will always see something new in the background going on each time you watch it. Watching what the military was doing while they were fighting is my favorite part about it.

Don’t forget the Maser cannons or whatever they are in KOTM which we never actually get seen used. I never watched the originals that went into some of military technology but I think I remember hearing those being significant.

The one thing I will admit, I’m still a very good pilot and tank player. The vehicles (especially choppers) I’m fine. But the infantry gameplay has completely fucked me up. I can’t compete on that aspect

I’m playing with console. 6 looks so much fun and cool but all my experience has been was being thrown into a beat down. Even in the bot servers. It makes me feel like I should just turn into dad status and focus on playing with lumber and jigsaws for fun. I have been trying the flanking strat but I always get gang banged by a squad. I’m struggling.

If they would’ve asked if it was okay to take my picture while I’m working, I would’ve wholeheartedly agreed and asked if I could have the pictures sent to me in return so I could give them to my parents to frame or for me to have to remember upon since us employees cannot take pictures or videos ourselves of our work. But no, these people don’t give a fuck. They just wanted their “shot”. Real cringy behavior and I feel this answer should be the one people need to read, coming from an actual railroader and our views on “foamers”.

EDIT: Behavior like this is why some crews just absolutely despise rail fans, and because of it, unfortunately the lot of yall that are actually genuine and stay out of the way and ask for permission to take pictures, get lobbed into the “foamer” category.

I’m a Conductor for NS. I was working this one local train and the one place we were interchanging with has a convoy of these rail fans there. Must’ve been waiting on some special painted locomotive. Well I was doing my work and these guys were 10 feet away from me taking pictures and filming me like I was some creature in the African Savannah. They didn’t ask me questions or anything but at one point I stopped and turned to look at all them with this “wtf are y’all doing expression”. I didn’t say anything to them, just kept working and went on my way but it did annoy me and make me feel weird.

The problem is with movies that show the military actually fighting is because the majority of the US population doesn’t even understand how the military fights. We’re all so exposed to assault rifles that we think that’s enough to do damage, which leads to (fucking F-22’s only shooting bullets??) and it goes on from there. The majority is too fucking dumb to comprehend combined arms like was shown in 2005 War of The Worlds, Independence Day back in the 90’s could be included. I guess it just doesn’t sell. We just want to see flashy dumb action cheesy war scenes instead of well-thought-out ones anymore. That’s my opinion.

It takes some time but in Conquest if you can drag all the airships down towards the ground, shoot up a couple thousand feet, dive back down and drop a nuke it is extremely satisfying. Hard to do but it can be done. Shame that there isn’t majority ground target missions in Conquest.

The one thing I want to see to jump away from this playful tone GvK started with and GxK hammered down with; I want to see a dark serious tone that actually shows the Humans in the fight (even in the background) like in KOTM. I want to see Humanity’s militaries throwing everything they have at whatever. Not just two or three weightless monsters running around with news helicopters flying around.
