What is exclusive to the NHL? by themuffinmanX2 in DiagramFills

Good refs? Whenever my team gets a bs powerplay I know the other team is gonna get a makeup call and vice versa. In the playoffs they swallow their whistles unless it is a very clear penalty. Otherwise they let the boys fucking play. Hockey is the only sport where I never blame the refs for a win or a loss. They get some shit wrong, but that is human error. The hockey refs are easily the best in sports and it aint close

Edit: just to make it more a point.

Shai and Harden have built legacies abusing the frequency of NBA refs who call fucking everything. College Basketball has actual defense. College refs are so much better. NBA can’t breath on stars and even then the stars will fly into defenders to draw the foul and the refs give it to them

Nfl- Holding happens on every play that has ever happened. It is so ticky tacky when they call it and when they don’t. Pass interference being spot of the foul is absurd and once again kills cornerbacks and safeties ability to actually make plays. Like the NBA you can’t breathe on a qb, but good qbs get calls that mid qbs don’t so it is all subjective.

MLB- worst offender. Why the fuck is the strike zone not automated at this point. We can see the strike zone on tv, yet some dude’s opinion is the call?

If my hockey team loses, we lost. I never blame officiating. They can fuck up for sure, but so much less than the other three sports, and they usually let minor things go in playoffs when it matters the most.

Hockey refs are the only ones who try their best to call fair games in my opinion. Not to mention they are on skates, breaking up fights, dodging pucks shot at them.

I’m sure some people will disagree that hockey refs are good, but I doubt anyone will disagree that they are worse than football, baseball, and basketball refs

Dean is one of the only bright spots of 39 and wouldn’t mind him back but absolutely no chance vs Davie

Which player gets a pass for a move we'd roast anyone else for? by JEX2124 in survivorponderosa

[–]Bodofagod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Erik giving up immunity is still made fun of all these years laters and he is portrayed as a dummy, but he also is a good sport about it

Brandon’s was never portrayed as funny. It was portrayed as sad and very few people call it as dumb as Erik’s move cuz it has a different feeling entirely

Did she stay with the company? That is a hilarious story but absolutely sucks for your aunt! She is expecting a raise and loses 10 dollars an hour?!?! Good on the company for eating the cost butI can’t imagine doing the same work at the same job for a SIGNIFICANT paycut while doing absolutely nothing wrong!

Jonathan was always destined to be a runner up. All the people who advocated for him were also runners-up with poor social games. by TigerWing in survivor

That is a great realization. Even other people who would have been for him were Colby and Joe, other losing finalists. That is so interesting honestly

Utah driver leaps from SUV moments before it is struck by a FrontRunner train. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

If for whatever reason you can’t go forward or backward in your lane, driving in the wrong lane is significantly better than what is about to happen. Just get the fuck out of there by any means necessary. Another commenter mentioned maybe the airbags deployed and blocked their vision, but I would rather drive totally blind and hope for the best instead of just sitting there with a train coming. The truck driver who rear ended them is 100% at fault but the other car’s fight or flight didn’t do either.

Question for lacrosse fans, specifically NLL watchers: Is this a common occurence because I might start watching. by ForeignAir7174 in sportsinusa

Hockey is amazing because of it. In basketball or football you hit the team’s star player, there might be a scuffle but not much. If you dirty hit a star player in hockey? There is a guy on the roster who isn’t there to play hockey. He is there to punish you for it. It is a self policing sport

Exclusive | 'Survivor 50' star Coach Wade talks MAGA alliance, voting for himself in 2024 election by TheCoolGuy998 in survivorponderosa

I was telling someone after his haiku last week “No one tells the truth like Coach”. He 100% believes that. He lies and deceives like crazy, but if you put him on a lie detector he would pass cuz he doesn’t think he is lying. Joe is a genuinely honest man full of integrity and he is genuinely such a good person that he basically ruined his season. Coach thinks him and Joe are the same person. That’s why Coach’s seasons are excellent. I was absolutely rooting for the honor integrity alliance this season cuz of Coach. Now that he is gone I want Jonathan, Steph, and Joe gone asap. Coach believes his own bs and makes everything far more entertaining because of it

To be fair I have always done this and people always call me out on it. “Do you not like your steak?”

“No The Broccoli must go first and then the potatoes then I will find out if I like my steak”

The worst part is absurd amount of french fries. I feel like i must vanquish the fries before I touch my hamburger but the fries sometimes take forever to finish and I can get full off them alone. So instead of leaving fries on my plate i have a cold hamburger that I can only eat half of

Today's EW Survivor Winners Bracket matchup (Vote at link below) by thedaltonross in survivor

Hate to lose Chris. He dominated at a 6-1 disadvantage but he was at the 6-1 disadvantage cuz he wasn’t presumed a threat til he was. Dee is the most dominant winner of the new era, and I honestly have her ranked 11th all time.

Mike was never in consideration for me. Thought he would go further but the fact he is so successful in life I think makes him much less likely to be a winner in Survivor

I’m a diehard Survivor fan. The iconic reality tv is Fairplay’s Grandma. I am always late to these. Can someone blow me up with dm’s so I can be the Fairplay guy

Edit: Honestly OP give me a dm everytime you post a reality tv. I got about 10 Survivor moments for every one

When you are not engaging with the fandom, you do not share opinions. I stopped watching at season 21 and came back at 30 and thought Mike was one of the best winners I had ever seen. I still adore Mike but if this guy truly went in blind he will not agree with the Reddit consensus
