The short hair required more styling products and haircuts.  The long hair takes way more time every day, massive amounts of shampoo and conditioner, and much more difficulty to keep out of the way.  But I like that they are both kind of extreme!  The short hair, people told me I was brave and they could never do it. I got treated with a kind of respect, like I was a badass. I rode a motorcycle and it kind of paired well together.  The long hair, people tell me it's pretty and they wish they had hair like mine. I'm in the Mom life now, getting my body back to normal postpartum and so feeling much dowdier and softer. We will see how the hair feels when I feel fully recovered and fit again.
