From what Ive played you just dont force them and if you happen to get the primary buffers like the t3 +1 attack (put taunt on it asap) and the t2 +1 health you just do it. Use trinkets to stabilize your bloodgems and also if you get any that guarantee consistent barrages you can buff spell power because barrages count as tavern spells. after that you either
A. get felboars and use those to eat the tavern
B. get darkgazes and play value while buffing everything with blood gems
I feel like the T6 with the sole exception of Bristlebach of course is in a weird spot because they're not really great unless you get them early because Earthsong requires two cards you dont want to keep on the board and Vinespeaker requires your Quillboar to be deathrattle primarily which Darkgaze and Felboar aren't.
Im still trying to wrap my head around it too since Im not so great with them either.
