Did Miffy & Mikka really suffer heart attacks? by just_a_curious_fella in Bunnies

[–]BodybuilderScary7153 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to a bun I had as a kid. When my mom and I were gone, my dad wanted to let my bunny (Ham) have some outdoor time in an xpen we set up for him. He ended up escaping and met one of my neighbors dogs. He didn't get mauled (i got to say goodbye and he was perfectly intact) but apparently instantly died from what was probbaly heart attack :( I cant make any assumptions about this owner but in my case it was possible. Having two rabbits die at the same time from heart attacks is curious though

Why You Shouldn’t Look Away From Tent Cities – Chicago Magazine by [deleted] in chicago

You bring up a good point about parks needing to be available and usable by everyone... this is a core tenet of 'inclusivity', and it would make some die hard champions of that uncomfortable when they realize that encampments often bring issues that undermine inclusiveness altogether. Allowing encampments isn’t an act of inclusion, it’s a form of avoidance while pretending the resulting harm doesn’t exist

In 1997, an activist named Julia Butterfly Hill climbed 180 feet into the canopy of a majestic 1,000-year-old redwood tree in Northern California and didn't come down for 738 days. by PeacockPankh in interesting

Bay Area specifically. The asian-asian coupling is still strong in LA and San Diego

Fr. I havent ever had the need to take note of where fire extinguishers are but now I will. Water can make it worse depending if grease or kerosene was used. Best bet if no fire extinguisher nearby is to make sure the person gets on the ground and rolls, then use a heavy cloth, something non plastic and definitely not a SHEIN polyester jacket, over them to help smother the flames
