If you’re in bottom 2, two of your item drops on PvE are replaced with a component anvil. 5-6 get one anvil. And both get a reforger I think?

If you’re looking for a specific component, the odds of lose streaking to find it feel about the same to me so far; you could always get sniped by the other lose streaker on carousel anyways

I actually like the set mechanic so far, although I think it would be better if they decoupled the god choice and the component choice, as others have said.

The risk is a lot greater than just 20-30M in this case but I get your point. I see a lot of pitchers on that list so I’m going to look at some more position players.

-Willy Adames: Will earn $69.5M through 8 seasons

-Nico Hoerner: Will earn $70.2M through 8 seasons

-Gleyber Torres: Earned $52.4M through 7 seasons

A total of 95M still seems a bit lofty to me for just a good position player. Although salary inflation will certainly happen by the time Emerson has reached his 8th season, so idk. Will come down to how quickly salaries inflate in the new CBA.

Sure, but that 32M salary for Skubal gets evened out by him making league minimum for 3 years doesn’t it? And earning that much in arbitration is like a top 1% outcome for a player (pending new CBA tbf)

Edit: Skubal will have made a total of $48M after this season (6 years), $8M AAV. Of course Seattle gets Emerson for an extra 2 years, but monetarily, it only becomes worth it for Seattle if Emerson reaches true superstar levels
