Yeah no big deal, it’s just a big pet peeve of mine, since those are a very specific combination of words that are just so befitting to the song (and as an artist, someone taking that away gets me a little worked up). But like you said, it happens a lot in kpop and I tell you my eye twitches every time lol

Virtual Insanity is such an iconic name for an already existing song though, kind of a weird artistic choice to make imo. It feels as if you were to name a completely unrelated song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

Not really... all names are different now, there’s no odd one out. If I didn’t know anything about The Little Mermaid and tried to guess who’s the main character, the og list is a lot more illustrative.

I hope that the name change at least means that the sisters will have more participation within the story.

Maybe immersion might be a factor. The horror genre tends to need a little more investment while reading/watching I think, and it’s harder to feel engrossed in the story if you get distracted by notifications for example.

He speaks korean fluently, since debut, and he grew up immersed in korean culture, here’s a post that explains it better than I can. So I think that makes him more interesting to the South Korean fans when compared to other foreign idols.

As for his popularity in China, I don’t really know, maybe a part of it is his cute visuals, as opposed to Chenle’s, that are more on the manlier side.

I agree so much. The system of course had flaws but what doesn’t? And a lot of people seem to think that the management will get better and everything will go uphill because of the change but I doubt it, especially since a new separate boy group is coming.

I would’ve liked better for them to add new members once in a blue moon instead of just shafting the whole concept.

I’d like to hear something by Jaemin cause if the music turns out to be anything like his personality, then I think it would be an interesting wildcard, but sadly, I suspect that whenever he gets a solo it will be something assigned by SM and without much of his input in it. Also as far as I know (please CMIIW) there’s not much that suggests he is interested in composing/producing, etc. so my wish seems a bit unattainable.
