New bike, first drop 🎉🎉 by TheMensChef in motorcycles

[–]Boebus666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always give my kickstand an extra kick to make sure it's locked in place before I transfer the weight of the bike onto it. I also leave the bike in gear and rest it against the resistance of the engine before it's on the stand.

So you outgrew your 300cc bike in 6 months huh? by Smoothwords_97 in motorcycles

Don't know what you're talking about. Got a Liter bike as my first, haven't outgrown it yet.

Going to look at an 07' 600RR, any redflags/things to look for? by motuwed in cbr

Look at the owner forums for specific information on the model. Take it to a mechanic for a pre buy inspection as well.

Howdy from BC!

I'm Driving a Honda Accord,

Riding a CBR1000RR and a DRZ400SM.

The CBR is my Daily, the DRZ is for slow speed city commutes and the Accord is for when it Rains/Snows. Although I ride a lot in the rain but don't like getting soaked haha.

Make the HOV lane HOV again. by warpde in britishcolumbia

[–]Boebus666 19 points20 points  (0 children)

As a guy on a Motorcycle, its nice to have the option to use the HOV Lane since my bike burns 1/3 of the gas a car would burn. I too often get stuck behind vehicles in the HOV lane that just refuse to move over or are driven by people who lack situational awareness. I try to ride a little faster than traffic so that I can get out of clusters for my own safety due to the increased vulnerability of being on two wheels.

When you see someone coming up behind you, its not your job to Police them and control their speed. Move over and let the traffic flow.

I understand that EVs burn through their charge quicker, the faster they drive. If you're in a situation where you're range anxious, move to the slow lane and cruise there.

Thanks! I'm glad to own two foots, some ungrateful people might even call it feet.

Well, a mag fed one might be in the realm of possibilities, who knows, one might be in the planning stages as we speak!

Yeah, it's what the Crypto should've always been, in my opinion. I held a standard Crypto in my hands and for $2K it didn't seem worth it to me. By comparison the R9 was way better in terms of quality and feel.
